Why doesn't she understand

* in the middle of the lunch break Lucy is sitting with her friends Juvia and Levy talking about the upcoming school festival *

Levy: so lu-chan who are you going to go with to the night dance

Juvia: juvia is going to go with Gray-sama

Lucy: I don't know maybe I will go alone

Levy: ( she is oblivious to everything again)  lu-chan you are supposed to bring a date it's a high school dance for crying out loud

Juvia: juvia agrees it is time for you to start looking for a boyfriend Lucy

Lucy: what do I need a boyfriend for

Levy: * sighs in pain of that statement *

Juvia: * is holding her face unable to even talk some sense into her *

Natsu: * walks over to them while trying to shake off all the fangirls * hey Lucy do you have a sec

Lucy: oh hey Natsu what's up

Natsu: well the school festival is coming up and

Lucy: yeah we were just talking about it actually

Natsu: great so do you have anyone to go with to the dance

Lucy: no why

Natsu: great than would you like to * fangirls surround him *

?:  please be my date to the dance

Natsu: * getting pushed away by all the fangirls trying to get back to Lucy * let me through

Levy: 🌟.🌟 lu-chan Natsu was totally asking you out

Juvia: juvia agrees

Lucy: 🤔 was he

Levy: he clearly came over to you and started talking to you

Lucy: but he doesn't that to everyone he is a nice guy

Juvia: 😑 * looks over to levy making a face saying * ( is she for real) 

Levy: 😅 why don't you try to talk to him after school, maybe you can clear things up

Lucy: what is there to clear up

Levy: * she just takes her bag and walks of with juvia *

Lucy: 0.0 hey girls wait * she takes her bag and runs after them*

* after school the girls scout out that Natsu has been waiting by the school gates for Lucy*

Levy: where is that girl

Juvia: juvia doesn't know she left the classroom before us

Levy: 😑 if she is reading in the library again. I swear I'm going to slam her dance head into the freaking table * rushes over to the library *

* as she walks in she finds Lucy sitting reading a book while Loke the School's playboy has his arm around her *

Levy: 💢 what is that asshole thinks he is doing

Loke: so princess do you have a date for the dance if not you can come with me

Lucy: why would I go with you, I can go to the dance on my own

Loke: your joking right the dance is dates only you can't just come alone

Lucy: why not who says that I can't come to the dance alone
