"Toby?" Instantly my mind filled up with millions of questions. Where are we? Is this why Tubbo hadn't streamed yesterday? If Tubbo's here, who else is? How did we get here? Why isn't he freaking out? Why is he staring at y/n with... admiration? lust? What the hell is L'manberg?
"Oh, Tommy thank god! Guess what, everyone else is here too!" Tubbo looked at me with excitement. How could he be excited? We're in a mysterious place, I have no idea where we are, and Tubbo has the audacity to look excited?
"Where the hell are we? And what d'you mean, everyone else?" I asked Tubbo
"We're in minecraft, mate! And Wilbur, Fundy, Dream, Sapnap, George, Nikki, Jack, Eret, everyone's here!"
I rolled my eyes at my friend. He must be delusional or something, because there was no possible way that we've been teleported to a video game.
"What? c'mon Tubbo, be serious."
"I am! Look!" He walked over to y/n and pointed to her sword.
"Enchanted diamond sword."
He walked over to the counter and pointed at the strange contraptions.
"Brewing stands." Tubbo looked satisfied with his explanation and sat back down.
My eyes widened in realization. We are in minecraft. that would explain how y/n can pull objects out of thin air, and how she didn't seem the least bit concerned at the idea of a blue sword, much less one that shimmered. Actually, it amazed me that I hadn't figured it out sooner.
"Okay... uh where's everyone else then?" I asked, trying to get my bearings on the situation.
Y/n stood and looked at me, then beckoned for Tubbo to stand, which he did immediately, bouncing up. Turning to me, she said,
"Come, i'll take you to them." And walked out of the van, leaving me and Tubbo to scramble after her. Tubbo seemed to stick very closely to y/n's side. Did he... like y/n? I smirked, making a mental note to give him hell for that later.
We rounded a corner and came to a hillside. Part of the slope of the hill had been flattened and hollowed out, so that there was a small square room in the side of the hill. Below us, there was a plot of land that had been tilled and planted with crops. Y/n walked into the room and I followed, but not before reading the sign above the entrance: L'manberg Embassy. Inside, there were a number of chests, a bed, and a few furnaces. next to the bed, there was a hole that led down to god knows where, I assumed to some sort of secret hideout.
"Tommy! About time you got here! Y/n messaged me about your arrival an hour ago!" A very tall british man wearing the same uniform as y/n walked over to me. He had tousled brown fluffy hair with a beanie resting on it, which I'll admit looked kinda odd with his formal uniform. Behind him stood Fundy, Thunder, Nikki, and Eret.
"What d'you mean, 'About time?' You expected me too?! I feel as if I'm being left in the dark here,"
Wilbur sensed my annoyance and distress and quickly started to correct himself.
"No no, I mean I only expected you after y/n messaged me. And I'll explain everything to you, so that you won't be out of the loop." he reassured me
"I'll help teach everything to you!" y/n cut in, smiling. For some reason, the way she looked so at ease bothered me. I laughed and snorted,
"You? What could you possibly teach me? Shouldn't you be out there helping someone build or something?"
Y/n's face darkened, and I knew I had made a mistake.
