#7 Calling a new friend

note - this was supposed to come out last week but I held it back, so enjoy this super long chapter

-Sky's pov-

I hate this. my curse is a nightmare, it eats me alive sometimes. I really owe kiki a lot of bubble tea from that stunt I pulled the other day. I know that her body can slightly hold spirits, so she could be suffering the side effects, and its all my fault.

I curl up tighter in my fuzzy covers. even though I had the day off I still feel the pain of a workday. you know when you have a sucky day and you want to die? that's how I've felt like since I let the spirit take control of me.

I sat in my bed for who knows how long thinking of the problems that I have caused in this house until I heard the ringing of my phone. I rolled my eyes and stretched my hand out to grab my buzzing phone.

looking at the contact I picked it up answering in a dead voice, "Sky here, hows it going Tama?"

"Wow you sound happy today." laughed an energetic Tama.

"yeah I'm so happy that I almost killed my friends because of my stupid curse," I replied sarcastically.

"oh no. but on the other hand, I wanted to tell you that Phoenix from my store wants your phone number. Should I give it to her?"

"yeah, you can. I don't mind," I told Tama.

"if you get I call from ***-***-*** it's her." hummed Tama.

"okay see ya."

I hung up and slid my phone back onto my dresser then started snuggling back into my covers, before my phone rang again.  I rolled my eyes again and picked it up.

"Excuse me is this Sky b. Eevee?" asked a sweeter voice from the phone.

"oh, yes it is," I answered smiling at the cursed girl from the other side of the phone.

"oh hey, Sky. Its Phoenix from the store in the city." exclaimed the now recognizable voice of Pheo.

"I know it was you," I stated, "if it's too much to ask can I meet you for drinks? I have a few questions to ask you."

"I would love to get coffee and I have some questions to ask you too."

we started making plans on where to meet up and when to meet up. since Pheo lived in the city and I lived outside it, we decided to meet halfway. our halfway meet up point was on the outskirts of the city that's had an amazing bakery.

if you readers really want to know, back in the winter I took Alice and Poof there. Alice got a small hot coffee and ended up falling asleep because she got like zero sleep. Poof on the other hand got three homemade cookies and some warm milk. I ended getting a cinnamon bun and a hot chocolate.

in the end, I and Pheo would meet at the bakery at 4. so I will need to start washing up.

"I hate getting ready," I said to myself.

I got up out of my covers to pull the curtains. as I pulled the curtains light flooded the room revealing the mess that I had made. I picked up my clothes on the floor and put them in my hamper. I decided to straighten my covers and fluff out my pillows. with the toughing up of my room, I moved to my half of the closet.

I grabbed my essentials, a black hair clip, a pinkish shirt, my favorite black skirt, and some knee-high black socks. I walked from my closet back to my bed, placing the items on my bed then turned to the shower.
