Since The Beginning

Chapter 1

*Flashback*

3rd Person POV:

It was Alex's first day of highschool, he had recently come out to his family that he was trans before he went to school very anxious about what awaited him back at home.

Like usual, he wasn't paying attention to anyone in particular as he hurried to his first class, not wanting to be late. Looking down at the floor with the occasional glance up at the room numbers, he sighed in relief as he finally found his classroom, walking inside and finding an empty seat in the front of the classroom, but not too close.

He opened up his sketchbook to doodle a bit before class started when he heard a ruffle of sounds in the chair next to him, he shrugged it off, it's school, there's bound to be someone sitting next to him in class.

Alex started sketching some random things, whatever came to his mind truly.

Suddenly there was a tap on his shoulder and a voice to accompany it.

"Hey, nice to meet you, I'm Daniel, you can call my Dan. I happened to notice your sketches and I thought they were pretty cool." Daniel seemed nice enough, he had short brown hair, even though it was short it had the appearance of longer male hair, he was thin but a tad muscular as well, he wore a black hoodie and bluejeans, similar to what Alex was wearing.

Alex smiled softly, a fake smile like usual as he spoke.

"Thanks Dan. It's nice to meet you as well, my name is A... Alex. You can call me Al."

Dan smiled, his smile seeming fake as well but Alex shrugged it off, probably just like everyone else, just being nice to seem nice. He was about to say something when the teacher walked in and the bell rang for first period.

*Flashback Over*

1st Person POV:

"Man... looking back on it now... it was pretty obvious that we were both depressed... but at least that we could work on together."

"Hey, I wonder if I still have that old sketchbook? I may've misplaced it when we moved out after highschool, it's been a while."
