*Flashback*
Grade 9:
"Dan! Hey wait up!" Alex ran up to Daniel in the hallway, his normal black hoodie wrapped around his waist from just coming out of gym.
Dan turned around and smirked softly, Alex was used to that by now as Dan waved at him, telling him to hurry up.
Alex got there quickly out of breath, a few bandaids on his arms as he got to Dan, heading to Alex's locker.
"Hey Al, I know you're clumsy but what's with all the bandaids?" He asked, looking at Al's wrists. Alex looked down, having forgotten about them and thinking of something quickly.
"I have a dog, you know this, he got too rough while playing yesterday and scratched me too much. So RIP me."
Both of them laughed a bit as Alex grabbed his notebooks and headed to class, making sure to put his hoodie on quickly before anyone else noticed.
*Flashback Over*
Alex laughed softly, looking back down at his wrists, faded scars on his wrist as he sat back.
"I was so nervous that you would find out... at least didn't happen for too long after that day... and that one incident..."
