Orange Soda Floats

After some very awkward conversations dinner was called. I wanted to leave but the Luna persisted we stay. Silently we made our way into the large exquisite dining hall. We all sat in an awkward silence until our waiter came to collect or drink orders. The Luna asked for Tea, Whister Black coffee, his brother water and the Alpha got orange soda with ice cream. I asked if they had monster and surprisingly they did. 

"Dragon, what drink would you like?" the Alpha repeated a bit louder than the first time snapping Spindle out of her daze.

Flustered she stuttered out a quiet "Um, Dr. Pepper?"

"What kind?" asked the alpha slightly amused. 

"Regular." She responded "With cherry and vanilla."

What drink did you get?  I hear spindle ask me in my head. She linked our thought patterns whenever she needed to speak to me in privet. It was primarily a wolf thing but it wasn't very hard to learn how to do.  

Monster. why? 

I spaced out and didn't want to feel out of place. 

Don't worry, Alpha James got a orange soda with vanilla ice cream. 

okay, That makes feel better about my decision. She said with a small smile.

It was interesting though. To think the Alpha would order something so childish with such confidence. I mean he would probably never order such a thing out in public, only a special treat to indulge in, in ones own home. 

The drinks came out quickly and the Luna lightly hit the Alphas four-arm for his choice of "drink". he did nothing but let out a self-righteous laugh and dig into his large dessert like drink.

"I am the Alpha, Cassy, I can and will eat this whenever I like." he laughed, his mouth half full of ice cream and soda.  

The whole table was trying to hold it together. The looks of everyone trying to keep their giggles down only made it harder. The Alpha took a look around the table eyeing everyone of us, he smirked and scooped up a large ball of ice cream.

"Why is everyone's face so red?" he asked in a confused voice as he put the heaping spoonful of ice cream into his mouth. 

I couldn't take much more of this. I rested my head on the table between my arms as I tried to pull myself together. Thankfully I wasn't the only one struggling. Spindle was trying to breath without laughing, Whister was trying to hide his smile with his coffee cup and his brother Danik had his head turned away to hide his large smile from his father. The Alpha looked around and tilted his head like a confused puppy taking another bite of his treat. This earned a snicker from Spindle and Daniks shoulders started shaking in a silent laughing fit. A small laugh escaped from myself as well. 

I tapped Spindles shin with my foot attempting to get her to calm down. I must have kicked a bit hard because she said Ow quite loudly. And that was the last straw. I absolutely lost it i laughed so hard my seat shuck. This sent Spindle over the edge too, now we were both laughing, Whister was trying to hold his laughter back but failed. Danik tried to take a sip of water to cool himself down but it only came rocketing out of his nose when I snorted. That was also the final string for the Alpha and Luna. Danik howled about how much the water burned, causing our laughing fit to start a new, even the guards and waiters were starting to laugh and snicker. 

We were still laughing as the food arrived, but no one could get through a bite or two without starting up again, this ensued through the whole night. It got even worse when by the end of dinner when desserts were being ordered the Luna refused to let the Alpha have any on account of him not even touching the salad he ordered for dinner. By the end of dinner my sides were sore and I swore I gained muscle or two in my abs.
