THIRD PERSON'S POV

Mina wakes up to the annoying sound of the alarm clock, she groans, massaging her neck to ease the pain. The clouds were nowhere to be found as the sun was already up, sending warmth to everyone.

The house is still in a complete mess, she didn't have time cleaning them as she fell asleep right after she took a shower. Everything was set already, now, all she has to do is to find any clues, pieces of evidence, and think of a person that might be close to the said psychopath.

She completely forgot to sleep on the comfortable bed but instead, she slept, uncomfortably, Might I add, on a wooden chair, her head laying on the wooden table filled with scattered papers.

"Damn it, " She curses when she sees her phone died, it probably was taking a break after last night, she quickly stands up, walking towards the nightstand to pick her charger up. She plugs the other end to her phone as she starts to plug the adaptor to the socket when she notices a crumpled paper next to the one she wrote yesterday.

She picks it up, unfolding it as she notices the familiar penmanship, numbers along with letters we're scribbled on the note. It was a clue! Chaeyoung had time to write clues just before she was kidnapped.

She couldn't help but release a sigh of relief, she straightens the crumpled paper, reading what was written.

It says, although confused, she brings it with her as she sits down on the wooden chair she had slept in as she grabs a pen.

25:7: G6(1)<E0W?

She starts counting down the letters of the alphabet until she reaches twenty-five. It stops in the letter "Y" so she scribbles it down in the pad. She starts to do the same thing for the next letter but failed considering it doesn't match with the number written.

She tries another method but once again failed, she is about to give up when she remembers something, standing up quickly, knocking the chair down as she runs for her phone, she turns it on, tapping her foot towards the marbled floor impatiently, "Come on, phoney, " She mutters as she waits for her phone to open.

After what felt like hours, she immediately looks for her notes, tapping on it to activate the keyboard, she looks at the number row carefully when she noticed what was under the number seven. She quickly places her phone, accidentally slamming it onto the wooden table, running for her pad.

She scribbles the letter "U" on the pad as the letters YUG starts to form, she quickly looks at the note again to see what's next. Six? She remembers what was before the letter U in the keyboard so she immediately scribbles the letter "Y", what was the number one for? The first letter and first answer were Y so she didn't think hard, it was that easy.

For the next one, 370H55V, easy, back when she was young she used to do this, she flips it over to see it reads as ASSHOLE, she couldn't help but chuckle at the phrase she unlocked from the clue, Yugyeom is an ASSHOLE, so she can finally confirm that it was indeed Yugyeom who not only kidnapped the love of her life but destroyed half of their house.

The next one is easy too, ¡W03Y9UY 51 LI, she does the same thing, flips it over and reads it, seems like the second one is like the I-second-the-motion thingy, it hardens the evidence.

Considering that the next ones are easier to analyze when flipped, she proceeds to read the next one. "Check the $00:20:1G3 of the WVC? " She asks herself, getting confused. Her head starts pounding at how hard the clue Chaeyoung had left her.

The dollar sign means the letter "F", she had remembered what was under the sign in her keyboard so she quickly writes it down followed by the two zeros so it is now, " F00". She immediately writes "T" down as she remembers the 20th letter of the alphabet. "A" for the next one, the letter is the first one of the alphabet and proceeds to write the rest.

"F00TAGE", she finally unlocked the clue.
The actress quickly write everything in the pad quickly so that she wouldn't forget. "Check the footage of the cam...?" She reads what she wrote carefully, getting confused for a minute. Her mouth forms an "o" when she realizes.

The security cameras! She thought as she runs downstairs, not before picking the keys for the basement door , heading to the basement where the control area for the cameras were placed. She quickly pushes the key to the hole, using a little bit strength to turn it sideways, unlocking the basement door successfully.

She quickly takes a seat on the black, leathered chair, quickly navigating through the control system as she watches the footage. Luckily, the said kidnappers were stupid enough not to cut the electricity system so Mina has now a stronger evidence to make Yugyeom live behind the bars.

The view of the love of her life, struggling to get free as the said latter made her best efforts not to inhale the chemical sprayed on the handkerchief is enough to make Mina's blood boil in anger. "I will make you pay, psychopath, " She mutters, clenching her fists but she releases them not long after as she decides to copy the footage just in case it got accidentally deleted, saving it to her drive. 

She then reads the last one written on the note, flipping it over as she makes an attempt to read it, "Call Bambam..." Her eyebrow raises confusedly, why would she call the man who almost destroyed their relationship?

Then it clicked, of course, Bambam is friends with Yugyeom, who else would she call? She smiles, quickly dialing Bambam's phone number when she remembered the exact numbers, silently appreciating how she can remember 12 digits even though the piece of paper the man gave her was ripped into pieces already.

It was ringing, she smiles, thankful that it was ringing or she would have to meet with the latter, which deep inside, she didn't want to. "Hey, Bambam, I kind of need your help..." She says, leaving the papers on the navigating system, locking the door as she walks upstairs.

She knew it was too risky to save Chaeyoung by herself but she's willing to risk it all.

Did you know? It took me 30 freaking minutes to remember the method I used for the clue!! God, I was freaking out when I forgot but now, it's okay!😂

It actually took me a couple of minutes to prepare the clues but I made it like, weeks ago so it's quite understandable that I forgot. It was staying on my notes for a while so😂😂

Anyway, hope you all love this! This reminds me of Bloody Romance but the clues on that book was easier than this one, for me.
