We live in a world where two big companies are fighting for the spot at the top. She-Ra Co. and Horde Industries have been clashing with one another for years, trying to gain the number one spot. The current owners of the companies just passed down ownership to the next in line. Adora, who works for She-Ra Co. is an upbeat girl who never lets anyone take her down and Catra, who works for Horde Industries is a get this done girl who also never lets anyone take her down. You can tell these two share one common trait and that's their competitiveness.

One day the two had to run some errands for their company and ended up in the same building, although they didn't know they were in the same building till they went to the elevator. Catra entered the elevator and it stopped at a floor when the door opened Adora entered . Catra couldn't see her face cause she was too busy on her phone. The doors shut and the elevator started going down, but suddenly out of no where the elevator stopped. Catra and Adora looked up from their phones then looked around the elevator until their eyes landed on each other. That moment they forgot about the elevator and shouted...

"YOU?!"

"What are you doing here?!" Adora asked in shock.

"The real question is what are YOU doing here?!" Catra fought back.

"I asked the question first!" Adora said.

It was no doubt the two were in shock but after awhile the realisation hit them and they glared at each other.

"So how's your lousy company going?" Adora asked.

"It's going better than your trash that you call a company" Catra fought back.

Adora sighed  "We should figure out what happened to the elevator, the sooner we figure it out, the sooner we can get out of here"

"psh don't have to tell me princess" Catra said as she leaned back against the wall.

"Don't call me that, Horde Scum!" Adora said back.

The two started to look around and pressed the alarm button, hoping someone would come and rescue them, but 20 minutes passed and no one came. The two felt the awkwardness surrounding them. Adora tried to break the silence by speaking.

"Sooooooo...how's..life?"

"Oh life's great, just got stuck in the elevator with my rival, how about you?" Catra answered sarcastically.

"fair" Adora replied

10 minutes passed since their last conversation and still no help came.

Adora sighed  "Look if we're going to be stuck here together for who knows how long we should at least get to know each other" Adora said

Catra sighed back "fine"

"So you're Catra right?" Adora asked  "Yep, and you're Adora right?" Catra asked  "That's me" Adora said and smiled.

Catra's POV

I don't know why but the moment I saw her smile I felt my heart soften. Something about that smile made my cheeks heat up. "Uh... how's your company doing?" I asked "It's going great, thank you! how about you?" she replied. Her upbeat energy, her stunning blue eyes, her blonde hair. She's so....No! no Catra you can't be falling for Adora right now. She's your rival! "My company is going great too, thanks" I replied

Adora's POV

Something about Catra was so intriguing. Her heterochromatic eyes, her brown hair... she's so...pretty, I know she's my rival but being stuck here with her makes me...happy.

The two got to know each other more and more as the time passed and they started getting closer. They found some common interests and some interesting stuff about each other. They ended up sitting down and leaning against the back wall still talking  and laughing.

hours passed and the door suddenly opened and the police and engineers were there "Sorry it took so long! but we finally-" The guy stopped talking when he saw that the two were asleep leaning on each other.

From a big rivalry, Adora and Catra got close to each other. Days passed and the two decided to merge companies, the rivalry was over... all because of an elevator.
