"Never forget me, Kai."

"I won't, Jay. I promise."

Kai and Jay were sitting on a hill that evening, and Jay had plucked some beautiful forget-me-nots. He handed Kai the blue flowers when he said this life-changing sentence.

Kai replied saying he'd never forget, but he knew it was only a matter of time before it happened.

/•~Time Rewind~•\

"Pythor's attacking the city!" Nya shouted to the others as they spinjitzu'd into their gis.

"Uch! Can't that guy just stop already?" Kai said, annoyed, as he got ready to jump off the balcony onto the city below. "He's done enough damage to our morale, let alone Ninjago!" He got his fist ready to throw some flames, but Jay held his arm in place, stopping him.

"Kai, I know it's a little annoying,"

"And that's coming from you!"

"Shut it, Cole. But anyway, it's nothing to get fired up about. We'll stop him, throw him in Kryptarium, and he'll never bother us again." Jay said and Kai smiled and unflamed his hand.

"Yeah, you're right." He replied, and they jumped off with the others soon to follow.

As he rode the wind in his Elemental vehicle, Kai kept thinking about that. What if we don't beat him?  What if Pythor wins? He thinks this every mission, so he never thinks much of it; however, this time was different. What if he does win? Pythor's gotten so much stronger since the last time we fought him... But then again, Lloyd did fight him on the Day of the Departed... But I've heard he has magic or something now. What if he's too strong?

All of a sudden he hit the ground with an "oof!" he got a little upset that no-one warned him, but eh, their loss. Cause now he was paying attention, he was gonna BEAT PYTHOR'S A- HEY NO SWEARING!!! sorry. Anyway. HE WAS GONNA KICK PYTHOR'S BUTT!!!

"Ah, ninja. Nice seeing you here." A silky, almost British-sounding voice said from the shadows. A large white-scaled snake came slithering into sight. "But, of course, I expected this. I can never have any fun in this country."

"Pythor! What do you want?" Cole shouted. "You here to try and take over Ninjago again?"

"What? Of course..." He replied. He smiled.

"...Not?" Nya asked, hopefully.

"No. I finished talking."

"THEN WHY'D YOU STOP WITH AN ELLIPSES??" Zane yelled angrily. "THAT'S IMPROPER!!"

"A what? Anyway, yes, I'll be taking Ninjago. Say goodbye to your city." Pythor raised a long shiny stick and it began to glow.

Kai gasped as he saw Pythor was aiming for Nya. He turned fire-engine red and jumped at Pythor, knocking the staff out of his hands. "DON'T TOUCH MY SISTER!!"

Unluckily, the scaly foe managed to grab the staff back in time to aim it at Kai, who then grabbed the other end of it. The added force of Kai pulling and Pythor trying to pull it away snapped it in half and knocked them both over to opposite sides of the street.

Pythor growled at the splintered end of the half he still was holding. "You'll pay for this," He said to Kai. "And when you do, it won't just be you who has to deal with the price." He said menacingly and slithered away. When Kai blinked Pythor had disappeared. A secret entrance to some sort of hideout? I wonder where it could have been...? Or maybe it's just his invisible scales. Either way, he's gone.

Kai stood back up from where he had been knocked back and wiped a bead of sweat from his forehead. I wonder what he meant by "you won't be the only one who has to deal with the price?"

Jay ran over to him and patted him down (get your mind out of the gutter he's just making sure Kai's okay). "Are you hurt??" He asked worriedly.

"No, sweetheart, I'm fine," Kai replied, still staring at the place Pythor had disappeared. "I'm just... thinking about something."

"Okay. Good." Jay sighed in relief, then noticed where Kai was staring. "Where'd Pythor go?... Oh. Don't worry, we'll catch him!"

Ah, Jay. Ever the optimist. I love him, but... I'm worried. What did Pythor mean by that? Kai kept thinking this as they went back up to the Bounty, ate dinner and went to bed. He could barely sleep. The thought was invading his mind.

What did he mean?

Thanks for reading!! I hope you enjoyed this as much as I did!! Don't forget to comment on your thoughts and vote if you liked it! Byeee!!!
