as i got to the owl house so many happy memories filled my mind. i hadn't had a reason to come over all summer,with luz being gone. as i walked up i saw my least favorite part of the owl house, the house itself. "someone looks sad hoot hoot" hooty said. i ignored him and knocked on the door. "who is it" eda said in a clearly stressed tone. "its me amity" i replied. "oh, come in amity. the door opened and i walked inside. eda was in front door trying to get her key to work. "luz's key broke" i said with my voice cracking. "there door isn't working either" they said defeated. "no"i answered quietly.
"can you call her on your human device" they said. "sure" i took out my phone but when i pressed the power button."crap" i said. "what?" eda said concerned. "my phones not working" i said. eda's face fell. "wheres king" i said. "they're crying about luz not being able to make it" they said with a small sad chuckle. "i am not!" king said through tears. "i'm just said that she cant make me snacks thats it".
"so what do we do now"i asked. "i don't know, but i know someones stopping luz from getting through and i think i know who" eda said. "gather supplies and your friends amity,tell them the situation, were going to the emperor's castle
