to 'celebrate' (smh) school starting up again (for me at least) i decided to update early :D (also check out the song above!! i especially enjoy listening to this one when i'm working either on little comics/doodles and writing!!)
Mirio, Tamaki, and Y/N began their usual walk home, their first stop being the Togata home. After saying their goodbyes until they met up the next morning, and Mirio's offering to come back home-which as usual, Y/N turned down-, that left the other two to continue their walk home.
"Tamaki, I told you, you don't have to walk me home every day-even though I wouldn't mind seeing you go all dominant again" Y/N mumbles the last part
"What was that?" Tamai turns to look at them
"N-Nothing!"
"Okay then, and it isn't th-at big of a d-deal, I just d-on't want you to g-et hurt, or taken ad-vantange of"
"Awee, that's sweet of you. But I can take care of myself" Y/N makes a dramatic heroic pose, Tamaki scoffs
"What? You think I can't?"
He was about to respond when a voice called out
"Hey there, coming back from work?"
"What's it to ya?" Y/N turned to the alleyway beside them, where the voice was coming from.
"Just bein' friendly Oh, and who's this?" The voice pointed at Tamaki
"Doesn't matter. Go on now"
"Aw, but the fun hasn't even begun yet"
"There will be no 'fun' to be had" Tamaki steps in, grabbing Y/N's wrist
'Kid, mind your own business. This doesn't involve you" The man snarled
"It is my business if it involves Y/N" Tamaki spoke, causing Y/N's heart to go doki-doki
(a/n: i'm actually listening to doki doki forever as i'm writing this)
"'Y/N', huh? Pretty name, darlin'. Now, why don't you just come with me now? We wouldn't want things to get ugly" The man says, holding out his hand and glares at Tamaki
"No thanks. We'll be on our way now" Y/N said, beginning to walk away

"Take a step closer, and I won't hesitate. I said come with me"
(edit: I WONT HESITATE, BI- okay i'm not funny)
"Y/-"
"I SAID SHUT IT KID! Leave this between us two and get lost already" He pushes the gun closer to Y/N's face
"Tama-" she flinches. Tamaki notices the tears that sat by her eyes
"Y/N, things will be okay. Just stay there" Tamaki said in attempt to reassure them that it would be alright
(a/n: well it's not like they can really go anywhere. way to salt the wound, tama chan)
"GO ALREADY"
"Please, put the gun down. I don't want to cause any harm"
"Ironic" The man scoffed, still holding the metal against Y/N's cheekbone
"What is it you want from us?" Tamaki asked
"I despise you heroes. You always pretend that everything is okay. It's all an act. You heroes are the reason my family is gone. You're the reason, and nobody cared! You all continued on, still receiving the spotlight! Heroes save people, they aren't killers"
"How did you-"
"I saw you in the sports festival. Amajiki Tamaki, y- OW! WHAT THE HELL?!" The man dropped the gun.
It all happened in slow motion
Y/N began running over to Tamaki, holding their arms out. Tears fell-either of joy or fear, Tamaki couldn't tell. The loud bang didn't reach their ears as she sprinted in his direction.
Tamaki watched as Y/N's eyes widened, how their eyebrows turned. He watched as they began to fall.
Time began again.
