Chapter 10: Enter the Human World

Arthur was walking out of the palace back over to where the sword of power stays. He grabbed the handle of the sword, pulling it out of the sheath. Before he put it back he swung it around a couple of times then turned it so the blade was facing the ground and with one push the sword went back into the stone that lay beneath. "Watcha doing there Arthur?" Beta said walking up to him. "I have a plan that I'm hoping Selenia will accept," Arthur said looking around to see her. "Well, what's the plan?" Beat asked. Arthur leaned down towards his ear. "I plan on taking her back with me to the human world." He whispered. "WHAT!" Beta screamed. "Shush shush, don't tell her yet," Arthur said trying to calm down Beta. "Arthur, she's the Queen, she can't leave." Beta said nervously. "Ya true, but I'm the next king. Plus it'll only be for a week. I can't tell her to stay with me. When my grandfather fixed the telescope he made it so that when the passage opens, the light beam energy can stay within the telescope for however long. Meaning she can return anytime." Arthur explained to Beta who finally calmed down. "That's true I guess. May I come with also?" Beta asked. "Not yet Beta, maybe later. I want to spend some time with her. Plus we need someone to watch over the kingdom while we're gone." Arthur told to Beta. Beta nodded his head and hugged Arthur. "Take care of her up there for me." Beta said waving goodbye. Arthur watched Beta walk off.

Arthur looked at the sword once more. He started walking backward and when he turned around he was greeted by Selenia. "AHH, Selenia, what's up? How was the inspection." Arthur said after being jump scared. "It was fine. Same as always. But I noticed you put the sword back. Why'd you do that?" Selenia asked. Arthur was getting butterflies in his stomach. He grabbed her by her hands and brought her in close to him. "Selenia. I know I didn't come back for 15 years. But I wanted to ask you something that I promised you two times many moons ago." Selenia looked him in the eyes. "What is it?" She asked. "I want you to come back with me to the human world. It doesn't have to be long." Arthur said to Selenia. She dropped to her knees in surprise.

"Arthur, I-I." Selenia stuttering. "I've been waiting for you to ask me that!" Selenia sprang back up kissing Arthur. Both their ears shook in love. A crowd was forming around them as they let loose of each other's lips. "What's the big occasion?" A minimoy asked. Selenia looked over at the crowd. "People of the first kingdom. I've chosen with your king-to-be. I am going to travel to the Human world for a few days." The Minimoys were surprised.
"Who's gonna watch over us while you're gone?" A different minimoy asked. "I am leaving the Prince in charge for now." Everyone moaned in disappointment. "HELL YEAH!" Beta yelled. "Thank you, sister! I won't let you down!" Beta said running up to her, wrapping his arms around her, and giving her a big hug.

The crowd dispersed. The trio huddled together. "Alright well, I better be getting ready. Selenia said before walking off to the palace. "Good job Arthur." Beta said congratulating him. "I won't let you two down. Come back soon ok?" Beta jokingly said.

Arthur smiled looking towards the ceiling. "Thank you grandpa for giving me hope," Arthur said walking towards the city.

2 hours later.

Arthur was waiting patiently by the doors to the transit hall. The entire kingdom was lined up on either side waiting for Selenia. "I'm getting tired of waiting." Beta said in a tired tone. "Well your gonna have to get used to it, this is what you'll be doing for the next few days," Arthur replied.

As they turned back to face the palace, clapping began at the end. Selenia was on her way down. Arthur watched her walking down toward him with the most beautiful smile. "Selenia, you look, amazing!" Arthur said to her. "Thank you, honey," Selenia said kissing him on the cheek. Selenia turned around at the door facing the group of Minimoys. "Goodbye for a little while. I shall return in a few days. Till then the prince will be doing all my tasks." The first kingdom clapped all together, saying their goodbyes to Selenia. The transit hall doors opened and to their surprise, the ferryman was already awake. "Great seeing you again, your highnesses." The ferryman said bowing to Arthur and Selenia. Most of the first kingdom citizens filled the room as the ferryman was preparing the passage.
Arthur looked at Selenia, taking one last look at her in her minimoy form. "Are you sure you want to do this, this is your last chance to change your mind?" Arthur said to her. "I do want to do this, it's gonna feel great being big. Plus I get to enjoy spending time in a new world with someone I care about." Selenia replied. They both stood right underneath the receptacle looking up to see the blue sky of the Earth. Selenia looked back towards the Minimoys, seeing them all smiling at them. "All right, time to go." The Ferryman said to Arthur and Selenia. The time had come for Arthur's biggest dream to come true. Since only one could travel at a time, he moved Selenia over from the launchpad. He would go first.
