Arigato, Gray...

3rd Person POV

It was the year X791. The fairy tail members who had disappeared on the Tenrou Island seven years ago returned just this morning without having aged a single day. Needless to say, every member left behind was overjoyed, crying tears of relief and happiness. The guild was complete again. Yes, many members left in the past few years but as long as the third master, Makarov, and all the destructive ones who cause a ruckus everyday are with them, everything was okay.

That night the guild had a celebration, with food and booze, with laughter and tears, with hugs and punches and of course with the constant bickering of the fire and ice mages.

Yes, everything was back to how it was supposed to be. 

It was close to 1 am now and most people had just passed out inside the new fairy tail building. Natsu and Happy were lying on the floor, snoring, Levy was sleeping with her head on a table between Gajeel and Lucy. Jet and Droy were passed out on the table next to hers and then there were Cana and Gildarts still going strong with the booze at the bar while Mira sweatdropped at the sight asking them to cut off on the alcohol. Everyone else was also sleeping wherever they could find space, some snoring while some passed out over someone else, half hanging off whatever furniture they were on. There were empy plates and overturned furniture everywhere. God, it was a disaster.

But there was a certain ice mage who woke up after hearing someone's voice. 

'Help me'

He opened his eyes slowly to find himself shirtless while a sleeping Juvia's arms were around him. He freaked out and immediately got away from her, though making sure she didnt wake up. He didnt want any unnecessary awkwardness. 

He heard that voice again, someone was asking for help. He looked around the guild hall but everyone was asleep.

No, the voice wasn't familiar. It was coming from outside. He carefully made his way to the door, jumping over sleeping fairy tail members and broken chairs.

The fresh, cool breeze caressing his face and chest. He closed his eyes and breathed in the air of his town, his home. 

'help me' 

He heard the voice again. It was coming from the forest behind the new fairy tail building. He ran toward the voice, someone was in trouble. He couldn't see much since it was really dark outside. 

"Ice make Crystal!" he used his magic. the moonlight passed through the beautiful ice crystal, amplified just enough to see  5 feet in front of him. He looked around , calling out to whoever it was.

"Is someone there?" he asked but after getting no response from anyone he decided to go back to the guild. But as he started walking, he heard some leaves shuffling behind him.

"Who is there?" he asked again.

"Help m-me, please..." 

Gray adjusted the crystal to send the moonlight to the general area of the voice. There she was, a girl in tattered clothes with wounds all over her body, trying to get herself off the ground but failing as her legs give out. He rushed over to her side, helping her get up.

"Hey, are you alright. How did this happen..?" Gray asked worriedly. 

"i-i don't k-know.." the girl who was around his own age managed to say weakly. She looked like she was exhausted and about to pass out.

"You don't know? What do you mean you don't know? How did you get here?" Gray asked, confused, as he held her up so she wont fall again.

"i don't remember...anything" the girl replied. She looked so weak but he couldn't help but notice how beautiful she looked in the faint moonlight with her long hair flowing in the light breeze.
