I could hear the alarm going off none stop as the warmth of a body slowly rouses me from sleep. Turning onto my side I see Steven, one of his arms behind my head and the other lightly resting around my waist.
When did he get here I wonder? Poking his cheek I wait until he wakes up. A frown on my face as I look at him. His nose twitches then and then his hand moves from my waist to my hand to stop my poking. Stevens eyes open up sleepily when his eyes meet mine, a small gentle smile tugs on his lips as he lays his hand back on my side.
"Why are you in my bed Steven?" I ask him in confusion as his thumb starts to gently caresses my side causing me to pull back quickly and then almost fall off of the bed.
His arm quickly tightens around me as he sits up with a small yawn."Careful doll, fallin outta the bed isn't the best way to start the day."
I cover my mouth with my hand as I begin to yawn as well, glancing at the clock I let out a sigh as a pout forms on my face. "Oh my sleep, how I miss thee."
"Really, Jacks?" He asks me with a groan, his face however shows the amusement that he is actually feeling. "There are lots of things we could do that don't involve sleeping."
Tilting my head I frown at him and roll my eyes before raising myself with my knees and subtly whacking him upside the back of the head. "Idiot. 'M not gonna just fuck you."
In response Steven gaps, then he points at me in amusement. "You swore! Besides we normally go with the term 'do it' not fuck doll."
I snort in response and move a little, this time managing to land on the floor with a groan, much to both of our annoyance. "Ouch."
Hyde chuckles then and he raise an eyebrow as I get to my feet tiredly. "No shit, doll. You fell outta the bed, what'd you expect Jacks?"
"Chocolate. I expected lots and lots of chocolate. Or at least pancakes to be down here with me." I mutter as I go towards the dresser and dig through my clothes to find an outfit. Not turning around I speak up louder to him as I finish gathering my clothes. "I'm gonna shower, I'll meet you downstairs in the kitchen."
"But what if I —" Hyde begins to say with a husky voice.
"No" I tell him firmly, but I hear him chuckling lowly as I walk out of the room towards the bathroom.
After showering I walk through the halls of the nearly abandoned house with a hum. When I get into the kitchen I see Hyde mixing what appears to be pancakes in the mixing bowl.
"You cook then?"
Hyde glances at me then and shrugs. "Had to learn."
I nod at that. "Want any help?"
He shakes head as his cheeks turn slightly pink. "No, it's fine Jacks. Besides, you don't like to touch eggs or some shit like that — remember?"
With that I snort and cover my mouth to hold back my laughter. "Not anymore. I have no problem touching any eggs. I've been told that I make pretty good over easy eggs too."
Stevens lips twitch up for a second before he shrugs. "Go ahead then doll, just don't burn down the house."
"You're lucky that I like you enough not to hit you with something." I tell him jokingly, then I stick out my tongue at him playfully.
He snorts and shakes his head before reply flatly. "Whatever man." After a pause he asks casually. "Eric kissed you yesterday right?"
"Yeah, isn't he dating Donna?" I ask him confused. "It was a bit— random and—."
