- Snake Update |Hera| -

The Queen herself- Hera!
Shes our Albino Boa, shes new-ish, andd 10 months old.

She was pet store bought and a little more impulsive of a buy, by the way *never* pet store buy snakes.
She has multiple layers of stuck shed that took ages to get off, which she hated us for but it had to be done. And she ended up losing the end of her tail due to it. By the time we realised some was cutting off thr circulation of her tail it had already turned black, we did get the shed off in the end but by that time we just had to wait for her to finish shedding and for it to drop off. She struggled so we had to help her a little. It doesn't effect them as it was just the tip and is apparently common is boas but still,,

However shes doing a whole lot better!
Shes eating well, regularly shedding with no stuck shed and with complete sheds too.
She has bit two of us recently though, mom completely forgot Kesu's rat was still out (he didn't want to eat) and Hera went for it, but instead got moms arm. I died, it was absolutely hilaruous- we did end up feeding her as she was clearly hungry.
And then she bit me in the face, she'd finished shed and I took her out to check if any was stuck and just make sure, obviously she'd only just finished and was in a vunerable state andd got a little spooked so she bit me. It wasn't bad, a tiny bit of blood, I as disappointed actually, very anticlimactic really.
Shes still a sweetheart though.
