Chapter Eight

She got ran over.

I just witnessed one of my bestfriends getting run over. I quickly called 911 as people started to crowd.

M-Matthew//E-911
E-911 Whats the nature of your emergency?
M-My friend got run over and the driver ran off but she's not moving, a-and her head is bleeding, I don't know what to do!
E-Its okay sir, stay calm and emergency vehicles will be there right away
M-Thankyou so much
E-No problem sir
*END OF CALL*

I was sitting next to her lifeless body until the paramedics arrived. "Sir, we are going to take her to a hospital, hop in the back of the truck & the police would like to ask you some questions" she said

I just nodded. I got into the back of the truck and sat on the chair, I was still in complete shock and I didn't know what was going on.

I thinking I should tell some of the guys but.......should I? I'll call Cameron and that's it. I dialed his number and he didn't answer, I rang again and still no answer "Ugghh, this is hopeless" I said to my self.

After 5 minutes Cameron rang me.
M- Matthew                        C- Cameron

C- Yo Matt, wassup?
M- Ugh where are you right now because something happened?
C- I'm at dinner, why? What happened?
M- Okay this is hard to say but A-Aubree got r-run over
C- WHAT???
M- Just come to the hospital and tell no one about this
C- Yeah okay dude, see you there
*END OF CALL*

We arrived to the hospital and the medics told me to waint outside her room. I saw Cameron running up to me and sitting down. "What happened? Wait. How did it happen?" He said.

"Well me and her were leaving Taco Bell when something dropped out of her bag, so she went to pick it up but didn't notice it was on the road then...... you know, she got run over. Its all my fault, I didn't pull her away, I s-should of been more careful" I said.

"Ayyeee, Matt don't say that, it wasn't your fault, everything will be okay" Cam said.

•Camerons POV•

I honestly can't believe this is happening, I have to tell Nash sooner or later. My mom called me and she told me that Nash has been wanting to see me.

"Matt, I'll be back, don't do anything stupid" I said winking at him (the wink was just a guy thing, nothing more) he just nodded as I walked off.

"Excuse me but do you know where Nash Grier's room is?" I asked a lady, "Yeah..........its 21A" she said in a bitchy tone. Wow. She was rude.

I found Nash's room and knocked, "Come in" I heard. I walked in and Nash looked like he had been crying but I didn't say anything.

"Hey bro, how are you?" I asked him, "Yeah I'm fine". " Are you sure? I can see that you were crying?" I said smiling.

"Yeah weeeeellll.......something happened between me and Bree" he replied. Uh-oh...Nash doesn't know yet. "Yeaaahhhh um, ugh, Bree yes" I said nervously, I needed to tell him and he needed to know, but I promised Matt I wouldn't tell.

"Whats wrong? Did something happen?" Nash asked, "Hmm, you'll see her soon" I said shaking. "Wait, I need to see her, like now pronto asap bro" , "No not now, get some rest first, okay?" I said. "No, I am going to see her" he said and ran off.

I called Matt and told him what happened.

•Nashs POV•

I ran, I didn't care if security was following me, I just kept running. I went to Kians room, I don't know why but I needed to know where she was.

"Hey Na-" Kian said but cut off by me saying "Where is she? Where is Bree?". "I don't know" he replied. I walked off and texted her, she didn't answer. I rang and rang her so many times but no answer. I texted her saying
I need to talk to you
Where are you?
Are you ignoring me
I'm sorry
Please answer
I'm worried
I'm scared
Please answer
I just wanna talk
I miss you
Ring me?
I'm missing you so much not being with me

And more.

I rang her again and she answered.

"Hey, where are you, we need to talk, okay?" I said talking like a fucking maniac.

"Uhhmm, Aubree isn't here, it Matthew" wow, did she hook up with him already? "Oh, could I talk to her?" I asked him.

"Oh uhh.....don't you know what happened?" He asked me, "What happened? Is she alright?" I said.

"Just come to room 28A at the hospital" and with that I ended the call.

I sprinted to her room and saw Matt. "Hey a-" the doctor cut me off by telling us we are allowed to see her. Me and Matthew entered the room and saw her lifeless body.

"Its all my fault, I didn't pull her out of the way, I-I should have been more aware" he said, I asked him what happened and he told me. I was completely shocked.
