Chapter - 13 : Battle for love

It will take at least more than half an hour for Delta to reach Dante's uncle's place, the weather worsened each minute, But for his Dante, The Red eyed male managed to go on, Its quite hard for him to keep walking. The blizzard of icy wind makes him shiver, the path was fully covered with white snow, in addition the street lights flickered on and off as darkness envelop. "Tch... I can't see anything.." He bitterly thought, he turned his glance around looking for a shelter, much to his luck he found an old building as he headed towards it. He reached his fist to knock on the door, but as soon as he did the old wooden door opened with a loud creaking noise, he stumbled few steps in, rubbing his hands together to keep them warm. Delta observed his surroundings, it looks like a abandon factory, he stared at the outside, "Dante... be safe, I'll be coming there soon.."

He sat there waiting for the snowstorm to stop, while in meantime he felt that something is wrong happening, he can't shrug off the feelings, his calls can't reach out to Dante, He don't know if Dante is alright or not, Plus that new guy Gywn is more troublesome for him to deal with. Besides all of this, Its already midnight around past 12 o'clock. Tomorrow is the battle with Arthur, he didn't train for tomorrow's match, not that he will lose tomorrow's battle but just the anxious feeling about his boyfriend and the battle.

Time went by After some hours of waiting finally the aqua green haired male sighed in relief, the snowstorm has stopped, he stood up heading to the entrance as he walk off. The sun raised up as soon as the snow started to meltdown, the birds chirping as it flew away playing with each other. Delta looked up at the blue sky, it was rather peaceful, he then raced towards Dante's house.

Once he reached there, he find out the front door was locked, "Its locked?" He looked around searching for any other access to the go inside, he looked for a window, "There" he thought, opened it up. He was about to get in, but his phone rings, he took it out and its Dante.

He answered it, "Dante Where are you?"

"Oh my you haven't find it yet? Such an knucklehead"

Delta gritted his teeth, "Who the hell are you, What are you doing with Dante's phone you, As*hol*" He cursed.

"Oh you wanna hear this kid's voice huh? Get that brat here" That Guy demanded to the other's, as then a childish voice screamed in the background, "D..delta!!!"

"Dante!! Don't worry I'll come to save you!" He said, anger rushed through his veins, "Whoever did this, I swear I won't let you hurt my Dante, Where the hell are you"

"Aw I'm scared, do whatever you can. He's gonna be mine now~" The person on the other end, sarcastically replied making Delta pissed off, "If you want him then come to Inferno, I'm here waiting to break you and your pathetic bey into shreds" With that Arthur ends the call.

Delta punched the wall almost hurt his fist, nevertheless he dashed to the Inferno tower. "Dante" Is all Delta is concern now. It's all his fault for leaving the blonde all alone by himself, even because of him Dante came out looking for him and now became the hostage for the king of hell, Arthur.

"DELTA!!!" The blonde screamed, his beautiful innocent green eyes brimmed with tears, he saw his boyfriend heading to him, but the guards stopped the latter from getting near Dante, "Let me go!! Delta!!" He cried, he can't stay here anymore. Those two guys held Dante back, not letting him go.

"Let him go you bastards!" Delta yelled ignoring the guards who's pulling him away.

"My my. What a beautiful sight, Two hearts fighting to get each other's embrace. So warm and deep." Arthur commented, sitting on his seat, looking at Delta from the big screen.

"Delta Zakuro, You are pathetic just as your bey. You can never defeat me!" The dark blue/green haired man said through the mic, grabbing everyone's attention.

"Tch. You pathetic coward, face me" Delta shot back.

"You ask for it~" Arthur said, walking down to the battle area. His turquoise eyes landed on the blonde with a smirk, "You will be mine Dante Koryu~"

"Tch... You-" Delta was cut off by Dante.

"Delta, Don't listen to him!!" Dante ignored that man as he roots for Delta.

Soon the both bladers get in their stance, ready to launch their bey after the Countdown, "3" "2" "1"

"Let is rip!"

Arthur smirked giving a sigh to the guys who's holding Dante, Delta can't concentrate on the battle, because those guys start hurting Dante, "Ugh... Stop it you two giants!"

"No matter how brightly you may shine, the darkness will consume you!" Arthur said before unleashing his avatar power. Apocalypse attacked from all sides making devolos stumbled but it gained its balance, Delta held his fist tightly.

"Dante..."

"Delta!! You can do this!! You're my hero!" Dante shouted inspite of those guys hurting him. His cheering gives a little sparks of hope, Delta activates his bey avatar, As he goes for clone cannon move.

But Arthur didn't taken back from that move, "Was that pathetic display supposed to be an attack? It won't work against me!" He called out his bey as it attacked fiercely colliding in the stadium.

After a few minutes both beys loss their speed as they spin slowly but then Apocalypse stopped spinning right after devolos bursts into three pieces.

"Prime Apocalypse scores 2 - 0, Arthur peregrine wins the match" The ref called out.

"That was nothing." Arthur picked up his bey, giving a unimpressed expression, "You're such an disappointment."

"Tch.." Delta growled, "Give me one chance I'll prove you my worth!"

Everyone there including Arthur himself, know that Delta can pull off more than this, but Arthur got some fishy trick on the poor aqua green haired male, he knew Delta's only weakness is Dante. Arthur plans to finish him, so he agreed to his request.

"Alright, Lets see what you got" Arthur smirked.

Delta collected his bey parts as he fixed it, "Devolos, we have to win this" As Devolos sparks, Delta smiled, "Lets make it 2 points match, whoever burst first wins the match." He said sternly staring at the man in front of him.

"Are you dumbhead or anything? Apocalypse has burst prevention system, I see you want to lose to me so badly, don't you?" The latter smirk got wider, he didn't thought Delta will make it easy for him.

Delta didn't respond to his comments as he kept his cool, "Dante will be fine, Delta focus on the match." He thought, giving one last glance at the blonde.

"3 2 1"

"Let it rip"

They launched their beys as it collided directly after been landed on the stadium. Arthur looked at the latter, who's too focused on the match, "You know, That blonde is too weak and fragile, I will make him mine~" He said trying to distract Delta from the battle.

"In your dreams" Delta didn't lose his cool, "Devolos!"

Devolos increased its pace as it goes for another direct strike as Apocalypse dodged it but got tricked as Devolos attacked from behind. Both beys collided, it's like no one is ready to lose. As the battle continued, It ends with a tie. Arthur is strong to defeat, But Delta won't give up yet.

"Delta, please win, save me" Dante said, struggling to get out of their grasp.

Delta nodded looking at his baby Dragon, "I will"
