3 THINGS ABOUT ANTONIA RAMIREZ:
⬇︎ ANTONIA 'TONI' RAMIREZ WAS ALONE. That was the thought that haunted over her own mind during those restless nights spent tossing around the empty bed in her room as quietly as possible with the hope of keeping her mother asleep and worry-free. So she was most definitely alone (in her own mind at the very least) despite what others said.
'TONI RAMIREZ' HAD A SUPPORT SYSTEM. That was acknowledged by every single person apart of it, all of them finding some way to remind the teenager that needed it the most (no matter how many times the girl in person told them otherwise) every once in a while, ensuring that she knew who was there for her to fall back on if needed, and who wasn't.
'TONI' HAD ABANDONMENT ISSUES. That much was known by the people she surrounded herself with. No one knew exactly where the issues sprouted from or when they became a fear, but they had a sneaking suspicion that it was related to the fact that her horrendous excuse of a father left her on the porch of their once shared home, a pitiful sobbing mess. OR The group of boys that were once her closest companions, left and never turned back for her (forcing them to become as close as strangers). OR EVEN The fact that the one who promised to never leave ended up doing that exact thing- breaking her heart in the process.
