After Robert had his surgery he was mad, who wouldn't be? His wife left him during his surgery to chase after her dead mom. However, Andy didn't stop trying to fix their marriage, she gave up trying to fix things for her mom before she fixed things with her husband. After a while Robert decided it wasn't worth it and the marriage was what made him happy not being pissed at her. They aren't back to where they were before but they are getting there.

Andy woke to the sound of the smoothie maker, no Robert and cold feet. Today was their day off which put a smile on Andy's face, as much as she loved her job she loved her husband more. She pulled the silk throw off of her naked body and got out of bed, picking up Roberts crew shirt and some fluffy socks and putting them on before she made her way downstairs.

"Morning" Andy said warmly as she made her way down the stairs to their kitchen. "Morning beautiful" Robert returned, handing her a mango smoothie. Andy smiled at him taking the smoothie before making her way to the couch. "any updates on the virus?" Andy asked as he sat next to her wrapping his arm around her, "there's about to be an update" he explained, turning the tv on.

Andy slammed the fridge door after taking her water out, "This year has been bad enough without being trapped inside for months" Andy shouted aggravated at the news that they would have to self isolate for 2 months maybe more. "Andy calm down, it's not that bad, it's better than getting sick" Robert said in a calming tone which made Andy relax a little instantly. "I know, I know I'm just annoyed" she sighed, "So much bad things have happened this year I don't know if I can handle more, my dad, my mom, yo-" Andy is cut off by the sudden rush of a sick feeling, she runs to the bathroom making it just in time before throwing up into the toilet. Sullivan closely follows her holding her hair back as she throws up. "Dee, are you okay?" "God, this is disgusting, I'm so sorry you have to see me like this" Andy groans sitting on the bathroom floor. "Andy don't be silly, for better, for worse" Robert pulls Andy close to him and caresses her cheek with his thumb. "I think I just got worked up, I'm fine" Andy explains, Sullivan pulls away and looks into her eyes "I'm sorry, for not being there for you with your mom" "I wasn't there for your after your surgery, we both made mistakes but what matters is we are here for each other now, I'm sure if we can make it through a surgery and a resurrected mom we can survive a few months of a pandemic" she explains standing up to brush her teeth.

A week later..
"Maya...something....please" Andy begs her friend as they stand in the women's bathroom at the station, maya stands with her back to Andy looking down at something on the counter, "Ands did you guys talk about kids, is it something you guys want?" She questions, "it's positive isn't it?" She asks as her heart drops and sends her into sudden panic. Maya places the positive pregnancy test into Andy's hand, "congratulations?" Andy just throws the test in the bin and runs out, tears in her eyes. She's running through the hall past the beanery when she bumps into someone, "sorry" she mutters, not looking up. "Dee? What's wrong?" her husband asks placing his hands on her shoulders, "I-" she starts before floods of tears leave her eyes leaving her unable to speak, his heart breaks seeing her this way, a way he hadn't seen in months since her Dads death. He takes her to his bunk and sits next to her pulling her into an embrace.

Eventually Andy stops crying and Robert decides to break the silence, "babe, what's happened?" he plays with her hair which always relaxes her. "Robert....do you want kids?" she tries to sound normal, "I mean, I never thought I'd find love again, no matter kids after Claire died, but look where we are. Claire couldn't have kids so I just pushed that idea away, but now I have you. Look Andy, having little mini versions of us running about would make me so happy, but so would staying the two of us forever. If you don't want kids it won't break this marriage but neither will you wanting them. Is this why your upset? Because you didn't know if I wanted kids?" He asks with a puzzled look. "Do you want kids now?" she continues questioning him avoiding saying the words, "If you want them, I'll have them whenever you want. We can make them now if you want" he winks making her giggle and punch his shoulder. "Robert, I need to tell you something, everything you've said to me proves that you won't be angry but I'm still scared, I don't know if I'm ready" "ready for what? Kids?" "Robert I'm pregnant, and I don't know if I'll be a good mom, I mean look at my mom, she left me when I was 9 and faked her death. What if I can't handle it?" Tears roll down her cheeks. "Oh Andy!!! This is amazing news, we are going to have a little child running around, I know your going to be an amazing Mom, your Mom might not have been the best parent but that doesn't mean you won't, your amazing with Pru and I can't wait to see you with our child", "I love you Robert Sullivan and I love our mini Sullivan, I'm just worried, maternal instincts I guess" "I love you too Andy Sullivan and I love your maternal instincts", placing a kiss on her temple.
