Hi, sorry the last chapter was a little short. I'll be doing a couple chapters before UA, as I want to elaborate on the readers relationship with Fatgum more and the impact hes actually had on her life. I promise my chapters will be more thought out but I wrote that last one mostly late at night and I was tired.

Sincerely,
Author-San

- the same night -

(Y/n) let out a soft yawn, sitting up in her bed and gazing at the clock on her bedside table. She was exhausted, despite this fact she simply couldn't sleep. Whether it was the excitement of finally having a home that wanted her or the anxiety of messing up and making Taishiro want to get rid of her.

She hated the idea, but after being rejected so many times she was secretly terrified. Petrified actually. She was terrified of slipping up, doing or saying something wrong that would make Taishiro hate her just as everyone else did.

She crawled out of bed, climbing down the later that lead to the top bunk. She stretched a little, allowing her shoulders to crack slightly. Tenko's eyes fluttered open, flicking his ears as he looked over at her. He cooed softly as she crawled into bed next to him, by now he was big enough to curl around her.

The vixen gently lay his head on her side, nuzzling his face in her stomach in a comforting manor. She smiled softly, reaching over and scratching behind his ears. Tenko always seemed to know what she was thinking, perhaps it was because he was created from her thoughts. She didn't care all that much, as long as she got to have him around.

Rolled onto her back, allowing the beast a more comfortable surface. "Thanks Ko... your amazing you know" she murmured, running her fingers through his long, silky fur. "Don't leave me ok? Never... I don't think I can live without you" she whispered. "Without any of you, the rest of them I mean" she murmured.

Her eyes fell closed as she recalled all the creatures she created. Despite everyone around her believing they monsters. She couldn't help but see them as absolutely gorgeous. No matter how gruesome or disgusting, they where beautiful in her eyes. Majestic even. She smiled softly, grabbing her gloves off the side table and putting them on, pressing her hand against the wall and whispering three simple words.

"Firefly, pixie, Nox"

The girl smiled as the three small, nearly identical creatures seemed to pop straight from inside the wall. Little did people know the true meaning to her creation of the three creatures. Her true reason was because she wanted a creature that recognized what she was feeling.

Thus, the three of them where created.

Pixie was a the tired one of the group, the only difference between the three where her tired blue eyes. She was often cuddly and needy, snuggled in a corner. Unlike the other two she never wanted to do anything besides sleep.

It was simple, she represented her depression.

Firefly... he was sweet. But shy, worried he'd do something wrong. Quiet and worried, grooming himself so excessively his skin would go raw. (Y/n) tried to reassure him, however it simply wouldn't work.

As firefly represented her worst anxiety.

Nox was the most playful of the three, she was always happy and longed to be touched. Nox is was one to comfort, one that was far stronger than the other two. She was strong enough force her dominate emotion upon the other two and (y/n) herself.

What was Nox per say? Nox was simply all the hope she'd gathered over the years. There was a time when Nox was very weak, barely even alive really. She was frail and barely able to move, all she could do was let out feeble whimpers and cries of pain as she twisted and turned. Hence why she stopped summoning her for a long period of time.

However, shortly after meeting the broccoli haired boy. She recognized that her hope had grown. So, she took another shot at summoning the three. And there she was, plump and happy as she could ever be.

(Y/n) couldn't be more happy about it, after all she wanted her creations to feel the euphoria of having a home just as she did. She giggled quietly as firefly nessled himself in between her arm and her side. Peaking up at her with bright, golden eyes that shimmered in the dimly lit room. The light simply from his eyes illuminating the area around them. He parted his lips, a loud yawn escaping him as he rested his head on her arm.

Pixie was next, stumbling over the folds of the blankets and falling face first in the crook of the young girls neck. The little beast being far to tired to even attempt to get up and framing this a good enough spot to sleep. Her blue eyes drooping till they quickly fell closed, letting out a soft, purr like sound against her creators throat.

Lastly, Nox bounded over, climbing onto her stomach. She kneaded at the soft skin of the girls belly until she decided it would finally be comfortable enough to sleep. Laying down and looking the small girl in the eyes.

(Y/n) smiled softly as she looked at the four creatures cuddling her affectionately. "I suppose... some sleep wouldn't be too bad..." she whispered. The girl closed her eyes, the warmth of the family she would always have lulling her into a deep, calming sleep.

The girl awoke in her far away world of dreams. The world she longed to enter during the day. A world where anything could come true, where her far of wishes could become a reality. A world where she could see her parents again.

She spent the nights dreaming of far off lands, with magic and monsters, queens and kings. Distant countries where nothing bad every happened. Where nothing bad had every happened.

Her sleep soon turned dreamless as she neared her waking point, hearing the rustling of her elder brother groggily getting ready for work before carefully heading into her room to wake her up.

He couldn't say he wasn't surprised when he saw the extra three creatures resting in bed with the two he'd left there the night before. It took him a moment to remember the young girls quirk, sighing a little before shaking his head and walking over. Gently taking her shoulder and shaking her lightly to wake her up.

The girls drowsy (e/c) eyes opened after a moment, sitting up and causing the small creatures to whine in protest as they where awoken as well. She looked up at taishiro, humming sleepily. "Hmm? What time is it?" She murmured.

Taishiro chuckled slightly and pat her head. "About time for you to get ready for school" he said, standing up straight and walking out of the room. The young girl got up and stretched her arms above her head.

She gently tapped the noses of each of the triplets, watching as they squeaked before dispersing into thin air. Tenko lazily looking up from where he lay on the bed. She smiled a bit before going over to her closet and getting out her uniform, a plain white button up with a navy blue skirt.

She pulled on the uniform as well as a pair of converse. Yawning slightly as she trudged out of her room and towards the kitchen. Sitting down at the counter and beginning to munch of the breakfast that Taishiro had set out for her.

Taishiro chuckled softly at her tired appearance. "Did you sleep to well or not well at all?" He asked, leaning against the counter as he watched her eat. Taking a bite of his own breakfast.

(Y/n) hummed softly, stretching slightly. "I slept good! It just took a little while to fall asleep!" She said, rubbing her eyes. "I'm not use to it here yet"

He nodded a bit, patting her head. "Alright, we need to head out soon, I can drop you off at school!" He suggested. Smiling happily at his younger sister, "so finish up soon, I'll be right back" he said, grabbing his plate and heading off towards his room.

(Y/n) smiled a little, continuing to eat happily. She grabbed a piece of bacon, tossing it out to Tenko, who jumped up and caught it with an excited wag of his tail. "I like it here..." she whispered, gently petting behind the foxes ears. "I like it here a lot..."
