'Shit.' Brady muttered, checking the gas levels of his car. Almost out.

'E-Everything okay?' Sam stuttered.

Glaring at him, Brady then looked up and smiled at a nearby gas station by the side of the road. He glanced at Sam and then he drove the car in. Brady stopped the car and he turned to Sam. 'You say a word.' Brady told him. 'I will blow your brains out of your little head, you got that?'

Sam nodded as Brady got out, filling up the tank. Sam nervously looked around for someone to help him, but he came up short. Two middle-aged women were in a car nearby with a male and a female toddler. He was going to call out, but he hesitated, he didn't want to risk the children.

There was an elderly man walking past as well. He caught eye contact with him, but immediately frowned and looked away, grumbling something. Sam was powerless.

Brady looked around and he peered down at Sam. He seemed to be behaving and he breathed a sigh of relief, happy that he wouldn't have to shoot his boyfriend.

After he'd refilled the tank, Brady swiftly made his way back in. He glanced at Sam and he rubbed his chest. 'Well done baby.' Sam's brows furrowed as Brady opened the cabinet in front of him, pulling out a match.

A cashier must've seen this, as a large man in a uniform quickly waddled over. 'Sir, you can't light a-'

Before the young man could finish his sentence, Brady had shot him in the chest. He quickly pulled back out and Brady moved his arm out the window, and Sam tried to grab at the match, but Brady had already flung it at a gas tank, blowing the place up behind them.

'Brady!' Sam screamed. 'There, there were kids!'

Brady snapped his head around, giving him a crazed eye. 'Shut the fuck up.' He ordered through gritted teeth.

Sam bit his lip and flinched as Brady punched him in the cheek. He slumped down, and Brady continued driving.

'Faster.' They spat at Callum.

Callum didn't want to, but eh didn't have a choice. He knew he had to do whatever he could to rescue Sam.

The person next to him held a GPS which was becoming closer and closer to the car. As Callum sped he started to see it in the distance, and he drove in nearby.

Brady glanced up, and he immediately recognised the car. He pulled the gun up and he started firing at the tires, but he missed several times.

'Drive him off.' The person ordered.

'What?' Callum asked.

'Do it!' They yelled.

Callum creased his forehead as he started knocking against the car. Gunshots continued firing as he kept tapping against the vehicle. The person had enough and he grabbed the wheel, slamming the vehicle into the one next to them, smashing them off the road. Sam yelled as he and Brady were smashed against each other, the car coming to a halt. Brady was unconscious, and Sam took this as an opportunity to escape. He fiddled with the button and he kicked the window to the locked door. Sam started crawling out, and he was about to fall to the ground when he stopped halfway through falling. Brady grabbed his ankle and started pulling him in, where someone started tugging him out. Sam looked up at Callum who with one final tug, yanked him out the vehicle.

'Sam...' Callum whispered, holding his weak boyfriend in his arms.

Suddenly Callum turned to see Brady pointing a gun between the two of them. 'I should've just killed you.' Brady spat. 'Both of you...'

'B-Brady...' Sam muttered you don't have to-

Sam was cut off by the sound of someone else cocking a gun. He glanced up to see Noah pointing at Brady who immediately turned around to face him.

'Get away from my sons.' Noah said gravely.

'Or what...' Brady asked.

Noah and Brady had their guns pointing at each other, ready to fire. 'I will shoot you.' Noah snarled. 'You wouldn't be the first...'

'You neither.' Brady stared.

There was a moment of silence before a loud "thud." Noah looked in shock at Sam who had hit a broken piece of metal from the car over his head. Brady was unconscious on the ground and Sam ran over and hugged his father. Taken aback, Noah stood there, before wrapping his arms back around.

'What now?' Sam asked. 'Do we call the police?'

Noah patted his back. 'He threatened to kill you.' A gunshot went off and Callum raised his eyes at the bullet in Brady's head. 'He doesn't get to live.'

Sam let himself cry into his father's arms before separating. 'What now?'

'You two wait in the car.' Noah told him. 'I'll sort this out.'

'W-What about Uma?' Callum asked. 'She's... in the apartment.'

Noah nodded. 'Don't panic. I can sort everything out for you.' He told them. 'Go back to mine and tell Cody everything. I'll sort it.'

Sam ran over and hugged his dad again, and Noah kissed his head. 'I love you Sam.'

'I love you dad.'
