They had it all planned out. Thomas would walk in and pretend to be confused as to what happened to his well-loved sides, Logicality would explain and the video would continue as it was originally supposed to.
But when Thomas said, "Uh, guys? What happened?" Prinxiety asked, "Why is it some people are different than others, yet they still manage to like each other?" Before Logicality could respond. Both Thomas and Logicality give Prinxiety a shocked look. The question had been totally off-script. Logicality let out a small chuckle, Patton's warming smile appearing on their face. "Why, Kiddo, that's just how relationships work! Life would be boring if everyone were to act the same way!" Thomas nodded in agreement.
"If everyone were to be the same, we wouldn't have a lot of things that help us as a society grow!" Thomas added. Prinxiety paused before asking, "Like what?"
"Like love, for instance." Logicality beamed, Patton obviously taking full control over their body, "If everyone was the same, love wouldn't exist!" This seemed to confused everyone, with Patton being the only side who understood.
"How?"
"How? Well, opposites attract, don't they? And while sometimes people with the same personalities fall in love, it's pretty rare. I mean..image dating someone who was exactly like you!" That last statement made everyone shiver a bit..even Roman found the idea of dating himself to be something short of a nightmare.
Prinxiety nodded, "Yeah...but why do opposites attract? They're opposites! Meaning they're totally different!" Roman exclaimed, and deep within his mind he heard Virgil grumble a small, "No shit dimwit.." which caused them to frown.
The video continued on like that- with them all talking about love and which personalities are usually right for each other. Until finally it was time for the video to end. Although, they didn't forget to record a little skit of Logicality explaining what happened to them all that would play after the outro.
They all went back to The Mind, with Logicality announcing that it was time for lunch, before marching off to the kitchen to go make some food for them all. Prinxiety felt a wave of disgust hit him as the thought of eating made him feel nauseous. Roman quietly yelled at Virgil for doing that before heading off to join Patton in the kitchen.
