I'm updating a lot so we can get back into the zone of the book, but soon I may update once a week. I'm so happy you all loved the first volume, but I can guarantee, this volume would be so much better 💕💕 (I hope I don't fail to keep you on your toes)

Not edited ( I know lol)

Friday

The rest of the evening was a blur. And somehow Jimin managed to sit himself in the apartment above the club with a spoon against his lips. The soup was delicious, at least it was a thought he could use to distract himself even though he really didn't have the appetite.

Joon Hee had cooked him some of her special sobering broth. Something he didn't need since something else had been more effective. Despite this, the headache lingered like a mellowing pain forming around his head. Thoughts that had piled together were now at a stand still. His head spinning but also it wasn't. The bitterness wasn't what made it difficult to eat but it was because the dancer was currently surrounded by all the other girls. They seemed eager to ask him about the mysterious VIP that booked the whole club. Since it was something that never happened before.

How long did he know? Jimin wondered. Long enough to be able to book a whole bar? Or was the Chairman's wealth his cheap ticket. A ticket into Jimin's mind. Ready to catch him out. Ready to prove to him that nothing passed the eye of the Chairman.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Jimin mumbled nervously towards the other girls. This was the very thing he had wanted to avoid, yet here he was. The Chairman knew where he worked and stayed. Now the other girls in the club have seen the Chairman too. Would he accidentally expose his work life too? He couldn't believe that was the first thing on his mind. The single word of forgiveness continues to ring through his thoughts. Remembering a sentence the Chairman once said to him. 'This is a reminder that although you are being punished, you will be forgiven.'

"Who is the rich man?" The girls giggled. Jimin already knew Yoongi was a man who was unproblematic when it came to money. Wealth that was abundant unlike Jimin who wasn't as lucky. No it wasn't luck. Yoongi created his wealth from his own work. Hard work. And hard working employees. A seemingly imperfect business plan, like the sexual freedom of the office, had brought him this wealth.

"He seemed really fond of you." Added another. From another person's perspective that might have been what it looked like. But Jimin knew, the reality. He was being strung along to a simple tune.

"Is he your secret lover?" Asked a third.

Jimin looked around for Joon Hee to save him from the interrogations but she had ran off after placing the bowl of soup down. She probably went to close the shop since the man who booked it for the night had already left. The Chairman booked the place, just for him. Just to let him know that he knew. He knew the place Jimin lived. The kind of job he had. And perhaps the kind of life he lived before he entered the office. The younger had a feeling, one that sunk all the way into the depths of his mind. The Chairman had known from the start.

"How much were you given?" One of the girls asked abruptly. "Didn't he give you a little cheque?" She giggled.

"Enough girls!" Joon Hee called from the door. Finally his saviour, the older sister of the group. The one everyone would listen to. She stepped inside the apartment, the club's entrance keys spun around her finger. "Don't be nosy anymore ladies. We have to open the bar tomorrow so get your beauty sleep." The curious girls sighed before they scurried off into their rooms. Meanwhile, Jimin continued to eat his soup quietly. He was in a state of shock, a head space that prevented him from thinking logically. One where he didn't know what to do.
