Uzumaki Meets Kitsune

A/N: I've been meaning to ask, but if you see anything in my fic that needs to be fixed or needs better details, tell me and I'll try to resolve the issue as soon as possible. That's all. Now, on to my fic!

<With Hitome>

Hitome was tree-hopping through the forest. She had managed to get at least half a mile into the forest before being noticed by Orochimaru. Add the fact that Orochimaru was, strangely, giving her time to escape. Hitome was confused as to why he would actually let her get away from him, but kept on running. She was almost at the main road to and from Konoha, when suddenly, WOOSH! Hitome looked to the right to see a blur go by. She faced forward, only to come face-to-face with Orochimaru, as he cocked back his fist. She was punched backwards into a tree, the force of the punch making her smash through it, hitting the ground headfirst. Hitome got up slowly, wiped some blood off her cheek, and growled at snake-sannin.

"What do you want from me!?" screamed Hitome in an angry voice.

"Dear child, all I want is to give you a place you can call home." said Orochimaru in a fake caring voice.

"And you had to punch me to tell me that!?" exclaimed Hitome, "No way, I may have lived on the streets for years, but don't think for a second that that makes me stupid. I know all about you and your dirty tricks, and mind games!" yelled Hitome.

"After my parents' murder, I heard one of your lackeys say that you would do experiments on them if they failed their mission, after I heard that you were their leader, I went to the shinobi archives and looked you up, I gathered all the information I could on you, so don't you dare try and play your little mind games with me!" she yelled with conviction.

"Oh well, I would've preferred taking you without using force, but it seems you've given me no other choice." said Orochimaru in his normal snake-like voice.

After hearing the snake-sannin say this, Hitome was immediately in a battle stance, ready for the fight that she was sure she would lose. What other option did she have, if she tried to run, he would catch up to her in an instant.

<With Naruto, Karin, and Jiraiya>

They were about two miles away from the underground base. After escaping Orochimaru's hideout, Jiraiya had told Naruto to go into sage mode to make sure they weren't being followed. They had been on the road back to Konoha for about an hour when Jiraiya broke the silence, "There's a clearing up ahead, we'll take a thirty minute break and then continue on." Jiraiya said as he landed.

About ten minutes into the break, Naruto said he had to take a leak, and went into some distant bushes to do his business.

<With Naruto>

Ten minutes into the thirty minute break Jiraiya had set up, Naruto felt a familiar, powerful chakra signature, so he wanted to check it out. He told his companions that he had to use the restroom, and dashed off into the bushes. After pinpointing it's location, Naruto started tree-hopping in the direction of the chakra source. He had been tree-hopping for around ten minutes when he saw who the chakra was coming from, 'Orochimaru!' thought Naruto with hatred.

Masking his chakra signature, Naruto hid in a bush located on the edge of the clearing that Orochimaru was standing in. He knew he had to wait for the perfect moment to strike. He hid in the bush for around two minutes when he saw Orochimaru dash towards a girl around his age, with beautiful silver waist-length hair, silver fox ears, and a silver fox tail. Suddenly, Naruto heard a voice in his head,

"Naruto-kun! That girl is a member of the Kitsune clan, you have to save her!" said the feminine voice.
Naruto dashed out of the bush he was hiding in, Rasengan in hand, and planted it right in front of the sannin, who dodged at the very last second. The impact creating a big explosion.

<Back at camp with Karin and Jiraiya>

Naruto had been gone for around ten minutes and Karin was beginning to get worried. "Ugh, where the hell is he!?" exclaimed a frustrated Karin, when suddenly, there was an explosion in the distance. Jiraiya and Karin looked at each other and nodded before bolting off in the direction of the large smoke plume.

The duo had been tree-hopping for around five minutes when a few more large explosions went off in the distance, making the two subconsciously pick up speed. What they saw when they got to the clearing, both shocked and worried them. There was a standing, beaten, and bloody Naruto hunched over, holding his profusely bleeding side. Behind him there was a girl with silver hair, fox ears, and a fox tail who looked to be around the same age as Naruto. Standing across the clearing from them was a slightly bruised Orochimaru with blood running down his chin, and a deep, spiral-like Rasengan mark on his stomach.

"Orochimaru, what are you doing here!?" snarled Jiraiya.
