Me and Emma pull up to Reginas house in my very nice Jeep that I have neglected. Emma hurriedly gets out of the Jeep marching to Reginas door step knocking fiercely with me in toe.
Regina opens the door not even surprised "can I help you sheriff swan and deputy woods" she grins at us closing the door behind her as she steps on her porch. "Yes. I need you to unlock the garage for me" she looks at Emma confused "why would I do that" Emma pulls out a piece of paper "because I have a search warrant that says you have to" Regina takes the paper and opens it and scoffs "on what grounds" she asks and I slide a bag in Emma's hand that contains the broken of shovel piece.
"I found this near where the heart was buried figured whoever buried it left it behind, then I got an anonymous call saying they saw you digging near the toll bridge the day the heart was found" Emma grins and Regina stares her down "an anonymous call" she asks "yeah, well I can't help that they didn't leave a name I guess they didn't want to risk pissing you off" Emma reply's "hm" Regina looks down at the paper one more time "now open the garage or I'll find a way to do it myself" Emma practically growls and Regina looks at her in surprise we all walk to the garage Regina unlocks it and Emma heads straight for the shovel.
"Where is it" Emma turns back to look at her and I look at the shovel beside of her that has no breaks in it. "Where is what sheriff" she asks putting the keys back in her pocket leaning forward. "You knew we were coming"Emma states looking down "how would I know that" Regina retorts "Mary Margret is a good person. She doesn't deserve this" Emma says walking closer to Regina "Ms.Blanchard is a liar and a murder, no matter what accusations you throw my way, that won't change. She's going to pay for what she's done. That woman has destroyed the last life she is ever going to destroy" Regina threatens walking closer to Emma.
Emma looks back at the shovel and storms out me in toe behind her. She gets in the passenger side of my Jeep and slams the door I get in looking over at Emma steam rolling off of her. "Emma I know your mad but don't take it out on my Jeep" I say putting the keys in starting it up. "She just makes me so mad" Emma says gritting her teeth. I look over at her and frown "I know, how did she know we were coming" I ask she turns to me in realization. "Take me to the inn I have to talk to August and you have the rest of the day off" I nod "I'll take Mary Margret her breakfast while your doing that" I say and she nods at me and I pull out driving to the inn.
As soon as we arrive Emma jumps out of the Jeep running in. I chuckle and drive to the diner I hop out lock the doors and walk in the diner stuffing my keys in my pocket. Ruby is no where in sight so I'm guessing she's in the back. I take a seat at the counter and I reach over ringing the bell signaling someone's here. Ruby walks out and smiles as soon as she sees me "hey baby" she says as she walks over to me "hey beautiful can I get the usual for Mary Margret" I say and she nods and walks in the back as I pull out my wallet grabbing money out.
A few minutes later she walks out with two bags and three cups in one of those plastic cup holders. "Two bags?" I ask curiously as she sets everything down. "I know you didn't ask but I got you and Emma grilled cheeses, I know you don't eat when your focused" she smiles at me leaning on the counter. I look at her in awe "thank you so much for taking care of me" I smile at her from ear to ear and she leans over and I capture her lips in a kiss. She pulls back and kisses me on the cheek and I hand her the money for all of it "no baby it's on me" she says holding up her hands I roll my eyes and put the money in her hand closing it "you already do so much for me including letting me live in your apartment with no help so no" I say smiling at her and she nods and I lean over to kiss her once more before I stand up. "Hey you get off early today don't you" I ask raising one eyebrow and she nods "alright after Cass gets out of school I'm picking her up and we're gonna go out and do something together before Cass's game okay" I say holding her hand in mine she looks at me shocked "really" she asks I nod and she smiles from ear to ear and I let go grabbing the stuff and wave at ruby goodbye before I walk out the door to my Jeep driving off to the station.
