Chapter 6

First Years

As always, introductions were made and Aoi being a nervous wreck, left another bad impression as an unapproachable bitch glaring daggers if anyone she doesn't know talks to her. After the class settled down, each of the girls and boys formed groups, leaving her the odd one out.

"Oi system, how am I supposed to complete the sub-mission? They freaked out earlier when I just mentioned their names!" she whisper-yelled to the system who only she could see and talk to.

Aoi rolled her eyes again, "In simpler terms please?"

"Who's Pete?" Aoi joked.

"Kidding. I guess I'll try first" she added before she could even hear the condemning reply from the system. Even though she said that Aoi knew how awkward she is in situations like this. She wasn't the type of person who would smile at someone then make friends instantly. Her shitty attitude he meeting someone for the first time is terrifying.

But she was more than willing to try because it was them that she was going to meet. Aoi spent most of her time dreaming to meet them and now that the opportunity presented itself, she wasn't willing to let it go to waste. A simple hi would work, right? She thought.

Aoi let out a nervous sigh as she rose from her seat and made her way to where the tall blonde french fry and her best boi Yamaguchi chatted. Her palms sweated a lot with every step she took and finally stood in front of the two who noticed her immediately.

Her eyes darted every corner of the room as she fidgeted her fingers, trying to think of some shit to say to the pair.

But she can't.

Aoi was overtaken by her own nerves and panic under the weirded gaze from the blonde and the uncomfortable look from Yams, opening her mouth every once in a while trying to say anything but always ended up closing it.
