Chapter 3~X~Catching Up~X~

Time skip to after school

Me and Sky were walking home after a boring, repetitive, first day at school just chatting about random things when he said something that I knew was going to happen.

"So why did you leave our village? What happened to you?"

Umm shit my eyes widen. I don't know what to say. Do I tell him the truth or...NO that would be a horrible idea he would hate me. What do I say? I decide it would be best if I lie as best I can.

"Well, um, when i was 6 theives came into my house and they set it on fire...Both my parents died in the fire but I got away and ran." This was partly true my house did burn down but it wasn't theives..it was him. The first time he got out he went and attacked my parents while they were sleeping and I had to watch, trapped inside my own mind as my hands slaughtered my own mother and father. After that he burned my house and left. I looked at the floor as we walked , a little upset at the sad memory and having to lie to my best friend.

"Oh I'm sorry man" Sky started " I - I didn't-" I cut him off

"It's fine don't apologise. How were you after you left the village?" Sky left about a year before it happened

"Well when I moved I moved to this town made a couple new friends but I never forgot my first best friend. Trust me" he said with a smile ."Oh? Well I never forgot about you either. Well it is hard to forget you anyway" I replied, reterning the smile.

"I am fabulous aren't I?" We laughed untill we got to Sky's house. We said our goodbye and such and I went back to the forest for another night of pain.
I hope I don't end up hurting him like before I think to myself as I slip into the shadows of the undergrowth.
