An Unneeded Argument

//hm..it's really early right now so please excuse any grammar mistakes.//

"Listen here Gutter Rat."

Crypto stared towards Caustic not even phased by the death stare and balled up fists..it was true that Caustic could probably put him through a wall but at this point he didn't even care, he would deserve.

"What do you want Doctor."

Caustic grabbed Crypto his shirt and tugged on it pulling him out if the doorway, Crypto looked around for a moment before eventually spotting Wattson with Pathfinder and Wraith, more guilt washed over him as he broke free from the madman's grasp.

"And what about it?"

Caustic attempted to take a step forward but was only met with a door to the face..the loud bang of the wood hitting the frame echoed throughout the base and once it fell silent again Caustic reached for the doorknob.

"Dr that's enough..m-me and Pathfinder will deal with him t-tonight, the last thing we need is an unneeded argument..."

Caustic wanted to say something but the angry stare from Wraith and Wattson..including the angry emoticon from Pathfinder was enough to tell him to stop, He sighed and let out a cough while he walked away from the personal quarters.

"that was not very exciting friends..."

[It had been a few hours since the incident with Crypto and now the legends had to go to bed, a few of them offered their rooms to her while they slept in the main area but she always declined because she Pathfinder to help her out because let's be honest here..Pathfinder could knock you out with the flick of his finger.]

Natalie sighed softly as she stood outside the door with Pathfinder slowly moving about next to her..it took her about five minutes she eventually opened the door and stepped inside, she knew Crypto was in the place they called their living room so she decided to do something stupid.

"Pathfinder. Please go to your room...and stay in there for tonight if that's alright.."

Pathfinder wanted to question her actions but an order was an order i guess..he slowly walked over to where his personal room was and entered it..[click and click] all the doors where now locked.

"Crypto..is that you on the couch...? ah it is...c-could we talk please.."

Crypto stared towards her for a few seconds before letting out a quiet 'sure' and making room for her on the couch.

Natalie nodded and sat down on the edge of the couch..Crypto was wearing more casual wear and by that i mean his usual jacket was gone which left him in a black shirt and an old pair of blue trousers..he didn't even bring anything to the room did he? so how...never mind, Natalie was just wearing her usual battle gear though the only difference was that her jacket was removed and her hood was down revealing her messy blonde hair.

"Natalie. I'm sorry for earlier...I don't know why i snapped like that..I wasn't angry at you i Was angry at Witt...i know you might not like me anymore but-"

"Hush Crypto...i do not hate you or dislike you anymore...I understand why you were angry though i did not the expect you to get so loud"

Crypto muttered out a weak apology but then something gripped his shirt, Natalie pulled him close to her.

"You want to know why you get the special treatment Crypto."

There was no answer as both of their faces were dusted with a light blush.

"B-Because i-i...I don't know when this began but i seem to have developed feelings for you...I don't know why or how or when i-it just started...b-but Crypto. I like you."

Crypto had to take a moment to process this though he didn't even get the chance to as Natalie had already planted a kiss onto his lips.

"i-i...N-Natalie...i.."

Natalie giggled slightly..she knew the answer as his face read it all, the deep blush the stuttering and the fact that he had wrapped an arm around her made her think the answer was a definite...though she did have the same trouble with Octane..what if he says no like Octavio did-

"natalie i feel the same way..."
