Adding Color
I apologize for the delay, been a bit focused on my writing lately. Today we would be working on adding color to a black and white photo, to bring it to life. Below is the image would be using, an as usual we would be using Photopea. Get your techs ready, and let's add some color to this image.
TUTORIAL
1. By now, you know how to create a new doc. If you do not, please refer to tutorial 1.
2. Copy the image and paste it on your new doc on Photopea. Now tap on the New Adjustment layer, at bottom right. Click on Color Fill, and choose the color of the skin you wish to use. I used this color #674631.
3. Once done tap on the layer shown below and press CMD + I (Mac) or CTRL + I (Windows). It should be as shown below. ALso make sure the layer is in Overlay, as shown below.
4. Press b on your keyboard, the brush tool should appear. Now color the skin, make sure the black tab above is highlighted. Now create a clipping mask (if you are not sure how to do so, please refer to Tutorial 2. Once done, duplicate the layer once or twice (depends on how you want the skin to look like. I duplicated it thrice, and it looked like this.
A very short and simple tutorial, right? Make sure your work is neater than mine lol, I can see some tiny mishaps from here. If you have any questions, please let me know.
