You were heading over to James' place because he texted you and said it was urgent.
Once you got there, he welcomed you at the door and rushed you into the house.
"So what was so urgent, I just had to be here" You asked James after you got in his house.
"You might wanna sit down for this" James said very seriously.
At this point you were getting worried. If they were going on tour he wouldn't tell you like this. He even told you last week there wasn't anything planned for the band for a while. If he's breaking up with you, oh let's just not think about that right now.
"You're kind of worrying me James, is something wrong" Let's face it, you might cry if it's as bad as you think.
"No everything's fine, I just don't know how to come about this" James said.
Oh god, if he's proposing just no, not right now, not here, just wow. It's not that you didn't want to, it's just not the right time. You were getting even more worried and now nervous. James on the other hand looked calm and relaxed.
"Oh um, ok" You said unsure of what to say in a situation like this.
"It's nothing bad, I swear but um, you can say no to this if you want" James said now getting nervous.
"James just spit it out" You were getting impatient at this point.
"Well um, I got these tickets and um, just look for yourself" He said, handing you the said tickets.
You opened up the package and inside were two tickets to New York. How the hell did he know? And why would he think you would say no to something like this?
"How did you know" You asked a little shocked.
"I've been wanting to take a vacation, just like the two of us, so I asked your friends where to take you. They all said New York because all you'd ever talk about at one point was wanting to go back so, there you are" James explained smiling at the end.
"Wow, thanks so much James but, you didn't have to" You told him.
"No, I wanted to believe me" James truly was the best person ever.
