Background:
Mike and y/n had been best friends, they were best friends with the whole party but they were the closest, until one day mike finds a girl in the woods and slowly fades away y/n tries to do something about it, but mike just pushes her away further, she stopped trying and then the girl goes missing and mike shuts down, doesn't talk to anyone, he didn't have y/n anymore, it wasn't her fault it was his, he realised that, and he needed her back, he realised he loves her, (sorry mileven shippers, but mileven don't exist here) and needs his other half back.

Y/N POV:
I woke up, it was a pretty normal Saturday i guess, I didn't have anything to do so I lay in bed for a while reading a comic ever since mike and I faded away, I never have anything to do on Saturdays, before me and him would have been at the arcade or one of our houses, yeah not anymore, my mom said just let him walk out of my life, once reality hits him he will run back to me, or so I hoped it's been a year and a half since mike and I last talked, pretty much gave up hope of our friendship at this point, the thing is I liked mike but it's past tense "liked" i don't think I have the same feelings anymore, since he's a bit of a dick now.

Mike POV:
Im pacing around my room thinking of what to say to y/n, she prolly hates me now but I miss her alot, and I like her it's took me ages to figure it out, I came up with a plan and decided to do it, I told my mom where I was going she was pretty mad at me for ditching y/n so she was happy to hear I was doing this, I grabbed my bike and cycled over to y/n's place I was practically shaking I was nervous as hell.

I was sitting in my room as I heard a knock at my door "MOM! MOOOMMMM!" jesus she's probably out running errands guess I have to answer it myself I opened the door and saw him.

"Mike? What are you doing here?" I spoke "I-I want to talk to you?" He spat out he look so anxious, why tho?! "Come In I guess" I instructed "I-I want to talk to you" he stuttered as he sat on my couch "okay" I said seeming not scared at all when inside, I was dying. "I-I am so sorry y/n I'm sorry I pushed you away when el came I-I'm sorry for everything I m-miss you so so much the whole party does, el is gone and probably not coming back, but that's not the point I just miss you, I'm a idiot for doing this even if you hate me I understand I was a idiot for ditching you for like a year over some stupid girl, when my other half was slowing fading away from me a-a-and the truth is I love you y/n" mike said basically sobbing at this point....
