Adrian's POV

I liked her. I liked her from the first time I met her. She wasn't the cheerleader type yet she was full of life and cheerfulness. She spreaded bubbles of joy everywhere she went and mingled among everyone so well that you couldn't make her feel like an outcast even if you tried your best. Yes, she was popular and so was I, but in different ways. I played basketball and athletes were always popular. God knows what but there was something different about that girl. Maybe that charming smile that could melt every heart of that winsome pair of eyes that could literally sweep you off your feet. I didn't care what it was but I knew, I liked Blaire.

She was the girl next door and I couldn't thank fate enough that I met her. Being the athlete, I was assumed to be the player-type-bad-boy which I never was. Speaking of the badboy, Christian was one though. He was one of the best person I met in my college days. He was so much more than just a college student, like his attitude, his confidence. He was a whole lot on a different level and yeah, also Blaire's roommate. I won't deny but to be honest he liked Blaire too. I mean, come on, how can you stay that close to her always and not like her? How are you supposed to prevent her charms? It took barely a month for me and Chris to bond. Supposedly, my best friend, a bond I'd cherish for life.

There was a different magnetism about her, her personality or her character and I couldn't keep my eyes off her. I found myself in awkward situation when she was telling something and I just got lost, staring at her the whole time. As a friend, she is nothing but super-supportive and you get friends like her only once in a lifetime. I understood this when she supported and prepared me like hell for a seminar. It was like getting my speech ready was more important to her that it was to me. If I screwed up on that stage, she'd lose, not me and thankfully I didn't. I couldn't believe myself that I overcame stage fright and gave a speech infront of all those people. It mattered to her more. I don't know what it was and why she wanted me to succeed that bad but whatever it was it drew me closer. I couldn't help but notice how her lips quirked up when she smiled or her long eye lashes and that slightest pink tint on her cheeks when she was bashful or how she carefully tucked strands of hairs behind her ears. I couldn't help but her drawn to her more and more. I couldn't help falling for her.

Christian's POV

I slouched down tiredly on my bed after meeting Duncan. He could be such s pain in the ass sometimes. I didn't understand why would he deny Sophia from going to a movie. Like what's your problem dude? You got a girlfriend and you don't wanna go movie with her? I couldn't believe myself that I was playing the peace-maker between couples.

Uggh! Exhausting!

I heard the door knob twist and thought it was Blaire but a second later a brunette walked in.

“Who are you?” I asked, sitting up.

“You don't remember?” she asked, a tone of surprise.

“How did you get in?” I arched an eyebrow.

“uh...the door was open?” he shrugged.

“Okay but who are you again?” I replied her with the same question.

“You really don't remember Chris? Last weekend...party...,” she trailed off.

“Oh...yeah right, Sharon, right?” I guessed wildly, pinching the bridge of my nose.

“Its Sarah, baby.”

“Yeah, well whatever, Sarah. What do you want?” I asked scrunching up my nose. I didn't even remember her.

“You know what I want dear,” she said placing her neatly manicured barbie hand on my chest.

I was going to kick her ass out when I saw Blaire walking in. I pushed the brunette against the was and locked my lips with her. It wasn't the best kiss but I wouldn't tag it as worst. It just didn't have me any kind of euphoria, unlike Blaire's. I could feel Blaire's presence behind me. The scent of her lavender oil tingled my nostrils and then I heard footsteps descending and the door shut with a loud thump.
