Chapter 26: Newly found attachment

A sudden roar burst in the office. The desk which was occupied with files and laptop is currently scattered on the ground. He clutches the edge of the desk with pain shooting through his eyes. Everyone gathered outside their boss cabin all shocked and bewildered. Aman was standing in front of his eyes with disappointment and bowed his head down.

''Sir..woh..i ..I..'' He gulped in fear. Asr carried his eyes and looked at him raggedly. Aman was taken aback by his foul mood. He was sweating badly with his hand shivering which is holding a file. Arnav went and grabbed his collar.

''Khushi kaha hain..? I am asking you something where the hell is my khushi? I want her..did you understand..I want my khushi back...'' he barked ruthlessly making him stepped back.

''Si..r woh..I..I..'' He stammered afraid of his reaction by the news he was going to spat. Everyone started wondering and gossiping about that girl named khushi that create havoc in Asr's mind by which he made the entire office upside down. Arnav saw them and the staff began scattering around making themselves appear that they are working very hard. He kept a serene face not acknowledge anyone and shut the door furiously.

''Aman I gave you 2 days did you got any information or not?'' He asked curiously. But no answer! Frustratingly he got up and began pacing restlessly. After waiting and waiting, he throw the file toward aman who is not opening his mouth.

''Si woh..I.. khushi mam..''

''What? Speak up got dammit!!'' He roared loosing his patience. Taking a deep breath, Aman gathered courage to open his mouth.

''Little bird said she left this city along with her child shutting down all her business and now no one know where she went..I am sorry sir but you lost her..'' Aman said last word in a low voice. Arnav cannot bear it and in return aman get a hard slap from his boss.

One week passed away but there is no news of khushi. He was madly searching her. Since the day khushi left nothing interest him. His sister anjali pushed herself away from him. One might can say she cut off all relations with her brother. Her marriage date is fixed. Arnav tried to involve in her wedding preparation but she literally reject to take any help and decided to do everything by her own. The way her brother treated with khushi was something intolerable. She is very hurt by the way he treat with an innocent soul.

Another day passed still he couldn't able to get any information. The thought of khushi nowhere around eating him up alive. He was unable face himself knowing how badly he manhandle her. Upon that, Anjali distance from him and its making him so suffocating that he felt he is in-exist-able for everyone. He is missing khushi like hell and wanted her at any cost. Her sudden disappearance make him realize how stupid he was thinking khushi meant nothing to him in-fact she is everything to him. In all these years there won't be a single minute he haven't think about her. His every heartbeat belong to her. Despite of accepting it, he keep denying but not anymore. He will get her back into his life and make her his forever. After some days when he was unsuccessful to do anything, he felt defeated and when it become impossible to hold everything inside him, he got up and pack the bag to leave Raizada mansion not before meeting anjali one last time. She neither say anything nor tried to stopped him. It pricks him. He put his head on her lap and started crying.

''Di..please say something..i knew I did a very big mistake. khushi is at no fault she always loved me but I have been a monster to her...please give me one chance to rectify my mistake..'' He spoke apologetically. Anjali raised her hand touched his face but stopped at her track. Her behavior stabbed him and more tears fell down. She melted down and cupped his gloomy face.

''Chotte, khushiji ko vapas le ao..main use tumhari dulhan bante dekhna chahti hu...'' (Chotte bring her back..i want to see her yourbride..'' He nodded affectionately and smiled.
