To say Niall was worried was an understatement. Zayn was never one to get sick, that's why for the last few weeks he had been telling Zayn he should go to the doctor. Ayn was always the healthy one in the relationship he could try the weirdest foods aver and almost never got a stomach ache, he went out in the cold without a coat and rarely got a cold. It's not that he never got sick, it's just wasn't common.
It was different now though Zayn had been sick for the last couple of weeks. Niall got up every morning to screeching sounds from the bathroom and when he got up and went to investigate he always found Zayn hunched over the toilet emptying his stomach. He had also notice how he always seem tired and a little light headed sometimes. So after a lot of convincing Zayn finally went to the doctor. He's just hoping everything is OK.
After leaving the doctor's ofice Zayn went to the park to relax for a little. He knew that when he got home he will have to face Niall, because he had never been able to lie to him. He sat on a bench and was about to grab a cigarette but then he remember it wasn't good for the baby. GOD! A baby, he never thought he will have to worry about one of those. Its not that he didn't like children, he just never imagined having one himself. He always thought of him and Niall as the cool uncles, being the fun ones, taking care of Theo or maybe someday one of his sisters' baby. But never in a million years he wanted on of his own. F***! Now that he thinks about about it, he wouldn't be able to smoke and drink alcohol anymore. It's amazing how life can change in just a couple of seconds. It doesn't matter what he choses: if he decided to keep it, then his life would change forever, he would have someone that depended on him, and he wouldn't be able to just think about himself anymore; however, if he decided to abort he knew things will never be the same, he would always be thinking in what ifs, and regreting his decision more than once. He didn't feel ready to take such a harsh decision, so he finally got up from the bench and relised he couldn't wait any longer to tell Niall.
Niall was sitting on the couch and watching some TV when he heard the door opened, he turned to look at Zayn and got up. He was about to greeting him with a kiss when he saw how pale Zahn looked- What's the matter? Is everything okay? - Zayn turned to look at him and Niall noticed how distressed he was.
Ni, maybe you need to sit for a moment, this won't easy to assimilate.-
-Zayn you're scaring me, what's wrong? Please tell me- Niall couldn't help the worried look that crossed over his face.
-Do you remember two weeks ago, about 2 months ago we went to a club we got really wasted, we got home and the next morning we woke up naked, and we...we found a condom oon the bed,so we thought we use one?-Niall nodded- yeah, well...apparently we didn't.-Zayn looked at the floor
-What do you mean? Why are you bringing this up now?- Niall asked confused.
-Well Niall this is hard, I'm...-Niall looked at him expectantly.
-You are?
-I'm...I'm pregnant- Niall stared at Zayn expressionless. Zayn's eyes start to water- Babe, please say something.
It was like someone had punched the air out of his lungs and Niall didn't know how to react, so he just stare at Zayn for a couple of seconds and didn't know what to think. But he knew one thing for sure, he loved Zayn, and he would do anything in the world to avoid the heartbroken expression he had in this moment- Hey hey, Zayn, babe please don't cry, you are to beautiful to be crying- he said as he hugged Zayn and started to wipe the few tears that had fallen from Zayn's eyes then he grabbed Zayn's chin and made him look at him in the eyes- Babe, look at me. It's OK, you're OK and I'm here with you. I know it's not something that either of us was expecting, but we can make it work together. And whatever choice you make, I'm gonna be here for you ok.
Zayn looked at Niall and saw fear, concern, confusion and love, but he didn't saw not even a little of hesitation.- I asked the doctor about abortion- he saw Niall nod- but he also said that maybe I'm a little late for it to be save.
-Then that is out of question, all I care about is you. I want you to be healthy.
-But what are we supposed to do? We have a lot of things to worry about. The boys, management, concerts, tours. How is that gonna work? We never talked about this,. It was never in my plans- Niall notice Zayn getting stressed with every word he said
-We'll find a way, I know we can, we are that awesome.- that earned a chuckle from Zayn- Besides, it doesn't matter if we didn't planed it, sometimes the best things come without a warning- Niall said as he gave Zayn a warm smile.
Maybe Niall was right. After all, when he audition to the X factor he planed to go as a solo artist, but he ended up in a group. All he had to this day, his success, his fans, his friends, almost brothers, and his loving boyfriend were all thanks to something that wasn't planed- Maybe you're right- he said as he kissed Niall with a big smile
So what if it wasn't in his plans, sometimes the best things in life aren't planed.
