Chapter Twelve: Part Two

We all got out of the cab and in front of me was the a beautiful hotel that looked more like a palace in the busy streets of Manhattan. There were people going into the building with stunning outfits that made me feel like such an outcast.

Jack hadn't said a word the entire time we were in the car, I wonder what's on his mind.

We were heading inside and I was expecting Jack to wrap his arm around me or for him to compliment me, but he didn't. He just walked straight inside not even glancing at me.

Well what's up with that ass?!!?

We had to convince his parents and family that were together and that we at least look like we can stand each other. I know though that in the back of my mind I just really wanted him to make me feel special and cared for.

Ughh whatever.

I was right about him, he doesn't like me, it's just an act he plays.

I was walking beside Jade and our jaws dropped, we walked into this amazing ballroom. There were Christmas lights around the walls and people dancing to classical music and everything just looked like it came out of a Disney movie.

“Oh my god," Jade said in awe.

“I know right," I said practically reading her thoughts.

I also knew that she was checking out the hot guys in this place.

Damn these guys are hot!!!!!

Since Jack doesn't want me at all, I'll just forget about his stupid ass self.

We headed to to the seating area and Jack's parents left to mingle while me, Jade, and Jack sat together awkwardly.

“U-um I'm going to go talk with some old friends, I'll be right back," Jack said and then walked away.

What the hell?!?! He's the one who said he wanted to introduce me to his family and friends and now he ditches me.

Jerk.

“Okay, what's up with you and Anderson," Jade said interrupting my thoughts.

“What?!" I said shocked, there's nothing going in with me and Jack this is all just a stupid deal I agreed to.

“Cut the crap Spencer, that boy likes you more then you think."

“No he doesn't, did you even see him in the cab, he didn't even talk to me and he went straight into the hotel not even acknowledging my presence."

“He probably just doesn't want to get too close, you know he's a player and liking a girl that is good for him is scaring the crap out of him."

Could Jade be right?

“Look, I know that your stubborn as hell but just know that I don't think he likes you as a friend and I know you like him."

I can't like him, I know that we won't go anywhere with each other. After high school we'll be starting our own lives and things will change, it's better to not get hurt by a player that doesn't express his feelings.

I looked at Jade and her worried face was dramatically changed to nervous.

I looked at the direction she was staring at and I saw this hot guy with dark hair and piercing brown eyes, this guy had the face of some fucking model.

“ Hi, can I sit here," the beautiful boy said checking Jade out.

Damn....lucky Jade.

Jade's P.O.V

I was getting worried about Jade, I know a lot has been going on with her family and now Jack is playing with her feelings. I know that she likes him but she just doesn't want to admit it.

In was looking around the ballroom admiring the beautiful lights and people when I noticed this really hot guy.

I mean this guy isn't just cute he's one fine piece of ass!!!!!!

Okay, calm your damn hormones Jade.

He looked at my direction and our eyes locked with each other, he has beautiful brown eyes.

Oh my god!!!! He's coming this way!!!! I started patting down my hair making sure it didn't look bad.

“Hi, can I sit here."

“U-u-um s-sure," oh fuck I hate it when I stutter.

He chuckled softly, “Whats your name beautiful."

He thinks I'm beautiful!!!!

I started to feel a wave of heat rise to my cheeks.

“Its J-a-ade," I never loose my cool this badly.

“Its nice to meet you Jade, I'm Alex."

“Its nice to meet you."

“So..did you come here for your parents."

“Umm no actually my friend Spencer here is Jack Anderson's girlfriend and I just tagged along.

He said hi to Jade and introduced himself, okay good, Spencer doesn't think he's a snob, she's good at reading personalities.

“Would you like to dance," Alex said holding out his hand.

I was literally paralyzed, this guy is hot, caring, and charming.

“She would love to, right Jade?" Spencer said interupting and piercing her eyes at me while gesturing her head to the dance floor.

I managed to say, “Yes I'd love to."

I left, mentally thanking Spencer.

Spencer's P.O.V

I was happy for Jade, it's been three months since her terrible break up with Logan...ugh that jerk broke her heart when she caught him making out with Sara Miller, the school bitch.

I got up from my chair and decided to walk around and try to find Jack, I wanted to get out of here really badly, thus isn't my scene.

I was admiring the beautiful Christmas tree that was set on the corner of a wall near a fireplace and it all looked very festive.

Like any teenager I had to take a selfie. I took out my phone and stood in front of the tree pretending to text and smiled quickly ready to take a pic when I heard someone say “PHOTO BOMB!!!!"

I took the picture, and looked at my phone and saw a boy with blond hair and blue eyes smiling and sticking his tongue out on the side of my picture.

He's really cute.

“You done checking me out babe?" I turned around and I saw the boy in front of me smirking.

Hey!! I have been so busy that it's been really hard to make time to write a chapter but I tried my best!!!! I hope this is enough....

School can be a bitch...I hate geometry!!!!!!!!
