3 Days After Summer Break

Dear Diary,
Sam. Sam. Sam.

Sam is back and I don't know wether to amend our friendship or shout at him for everything he has done: watching me and not helping whilst I was bullied, abandoning me because he was scared of being seen with me, the list goes on...

You should've seen what he did to Brayden and co.! I was literally blown away, I never thought that Sam would finally pluck up the courage to save his (ex) best-friend, especially that we only have a year and a bit until college. Harvard here I come!

Anyways, today was actually one of the best days of my life. Third day in and not only has Lana rejected him, but he has also been humiliated. I can now safely say that operation 'Destroy Brayden's fucking life' is underway, and that it is growing into a perfect outcome.

Mum has been quiet, probably because dad hasn't come back since yesterday. Even though they hate each other with a passion and is only married for me (which I find pointless because I am now seventeen and it would actually be better if they do divorce because I would have more peace and quiet. And also because I'm soon moving out to America so I won't be around) she looks really worried with her quick pacing across the house and having a crease in between her eyebrows that has been there for most of the day.

I have a feeling he isn't coming back and I'm happy for him. He doesn't have to lose his freedom to date because of me. I'm proud of him. Instead of being trapped at home with a wife he hates with all his heart and a child (not really a child anymore) who keeps him from divorcing her mum, he goes out, finds the woman he truly wants to spend his whole life with and not give a shit anymore about me and mum because he has realised that I don't need looking after meaning mum doesn't need help looking after me.

Sorry this is a short entry, me and mum is going to Auntie Millie's thirty years marriage anniversary with Todd. I don't really see the point, mum hates her sister because she says Millie was the perfect twin with the perfect husband and the perfect job and the perfect everything. And mum is always bitter at marriage anniversary celebrations and my theory of this is because her marriage is far from perfect and even though her and dad have had twenty-three anniversaries, they wouldn't dare have a celebration. We all know it would end up in tears, smashed glass, bewildered guests and a house turned into rubble.

She's always bitter when anyone mentions marriage. She gets in a mood and gets grumpy and takes it out on me. I can tell if someone has brought up marriage because it shows in the food she cooks. For instance, today I knew not only because it was my only auntie's anniversary but also because of her jacket potato with homemade mayonnaise and smoked tuna, which for the record usually tastes like a piece of heaven, that tasted out of her usual game: the potato was undercooked (I was quite scared that I'd get food poisoning), the mayonnaise tasted like plain sourness and the fish was just an abundance of too much salt infused into a soft weird textured fish.

Alright, that's enough rambling. I'm all dressed up in a black lace skirt, a simple white tee and a maroon jacket. My mum is telling me to put down my pen and go to the car and she sounds very aggravated, it's the marriage anniversary of Auntie Millie that is the cause of it.

I'm going now :3

OKAY SO I'VE GOTTEN HOME FROM THE CELEBRATION AND BRAYDEN'S ROOM WINDOW IS RIGHT ACROSS FROM MINE AND I FEEL REALLY WEIRDED OUT. HE WAS TALKING TO ME USING HIS NOTEPAD AND I GOT SO FREAKED OUT THAT I CLOSED MY CURTAINS.

AND MY DAD IS BACK. MY MUM SEEMS TO HAVE CALMED DOWN AND THAT CREASE HAS VANISHED. IT'S LIKE TWO IN THE MORNING AND I KEEP PEEKING OUT OF MY CURTAIN TO SEE IF HIS CURTAIN IS STILL OPEN AND HE'S THERE PLAYING VIDEO GAMES SHIRTLESS WTF. ANYWAYS THIS IS BYE FOR GOOD!

Who I Am:

Sooo my writers name is Raini Padgent and I live in a world know as the United States (I wish). Actually I live in the United Kingdom and tbh it is shit here xD
I play video games, I absolutely love Minecraft and I watch Minecraft YouTube videos (not Stampy or Sky but the CubeSMP members e.g Grapeapplesauce and TheCampingRusher whom I have one of the biggest crushes on). I also enjoy writing and not planning a story before I write it therefore winging the story and making it up along as I go (that may be the reason why all my stories are bloody shit 😂)
That pretty much is all you need to know. Questions about myself and the story are truly appreciated along with CONSIDERATE comments (meaning they can critique my writing, which will help me, but doing so in a considerate way).

The Characters:

Lara Haven Ford

Appearance: Brownish blonde hair that is slightly wavy and stops just below her shoulder bones. Very dark brown eyes. Seventeen. Is about 5'5. Looks like Chloë Moretz

Background: In the past she has had a stalker (the reason behind her paranoia in Diary Entry 2). Bullied and her family is messed up. Wants to retaliate to the main bully Brayden therefore she has two 'personas': Haven (the quiet girl at school who gets bullied) and Lana (the outgoing gorgeous girl who will sweep Brayden off of his feet). Slightly depressed, cuts frequently but her depression isn't as bad as Sam's or her mum's...

Brayden Smith

Appearance: Black short straight hair. Brown eyes. Seventeen. Is about 6'1. Looks like Colton Haynes.

Background: No one knows he was adopted. Childhood has been a disturbing experience and bullies because he likes to have power to make up for the lack of power when he was younger that he could've used to fight his biological mum. He doesn't like bullying Haven but it makes him feel more powerful and it gives him popularity. He may look strong and confident on the outside but in the inside he is crumbling.

Sam Hardy

Appearance: Brown straight short hair. Hazel eyes. Seventeen. Is about 5'11. Looks like Ansel Elgort.

Background: Quiet, normal student. Left Lana because he was scared that Brayden would target him too. Everything at home is fine but depression effects his life greatly. Attended rehab to help his suicidal self in the summer but hasn't helped. His depression has been the worst than ever now.

More character descriptions will be added once they are introduced into the story!

Schedule:

I want to publish a chapter at least twice a week but it really depends on how many views I am getting and if I'm busy with school work. But I can't promise I will be consistent with the chapters!
