Chase stood tall as the class continued their way through out the lecture tour with the new addition of Lionel Everheart, who kept rejecting eye contact with whoever it may be.
He found Lionel intriguing for some reason, not that at him being bisexual or anything, or the fact Lionel was a complete twink este bottom. There was something about him that Chase found interesting.
He would feel his cerulean eyes would sparkle with excitement everytime he would look at Lionel, even though his stares were not fully reciprocated with the same desire he held.
The tall lad took the time to examine the boy who just barely reaches his shoulders as his head stooped down as his gaze was fixated on the beige tiles on the floor.
He really is petite. Chase inwardly thought, without any malice, whatsoever, just first impressions.
Lionel, to his surprise found himself within the school grounds without any identification of being a bonafide student of the academy. And to be that timid to not look at anyone aside the floor, or atleast the paintings, hurt Chase's ego for art appreciation.
"This concludes the tour. And I hope to see your reflection papers by the end of this week, on top of my teacher's desk." Mrs. Farrett, the literature professor spoke as everyone in class dispersed into the crowd within the art museum.
Chase was about to head outside, gripping his hand bag, swiveling it over his shoulder, as he looked for a certain male who piqued his interest not too long ago.
Poking his tongue at the side of his mouth as he scanned the wide room for Lionel, it was not really a task to find him for he would obviously stand out because of what he wore. For he was the only one who wore colorful casual clothes in a sea of red and brown slacks and skirts.
Finding him infront of the La Soliel painting.
The La Soliel was one of the artpieces Chase appreciated because of how interesting it looked with all the yellow and tints of it. It was dominantly a mask of yellow paint and nothing more, but Chase saw beauty within the story of yellow. That is why, he loved it so much.
Lionel, whose back was facing Chase, had his head straight towards the large painting. He kept staring at it. Almost entranced at it. His hand unconsciously raised almost to touch the said painting, only to be stopped by a grab of his hand.
Chase squinted his eyes at the guard who grabbed Lionel by the hand as the guard spat some delirious words, however what suprised him more, was how undettered and unbothered Lionel was from the sudden encounter.
Chase could see the guard tightening the grip, but Lionel was still motionless. The male had enough, as he approached the two with a calm, yet stern demeanor.
"What's the problem here?" Chase rhetorically asked, actually knowing what had happened.
"Nothing, this boy here, attempted to touch the painting, which it clearly says no touching." The guard spat.
Chase scoffed at how poor the guard's reasoning was. He could flick the guard's whole cool demeanor by a snap of a neck and back.
But he remained cool.
"But it does not give you any reason to tighten your grip on his wrist now, does it?" Chase callously smiled.
The guard scoffed before harshly letting go of Lionel's wrist which landed on his side with a soft thud.
"What an ass" Chase muttered under his breath as he turned his attention to Lionel, who was still motionless.
Chase lightly shook Lionel, who kept standing motionless, but did not fail to notice the droplets of blood by his feet, that was almost coming from his face.
Blood? Chase questioned.
Almost immediately, Chase slowly squatted down to see Lionel's condition. Only to be horrified with what he had discovered.
As blood droplets dripped on Chase's shocked face.
Lionel's eyes were bleeding out of it..
(a/n: La Soliel may or may not be true, if it is, it is purely coincidencial and the mentioned is just a self- interpretation.)
