Chapter Seven | Ethan's POV

I don't know what or even why I was captivated by this boy. But I knew, from the very first time I laid eyes on him, it was true love. Alright, call me a sucker for a sappy cliché romance, but hey, a boy's got to dream of something. It was lunch and Andrea was trying to find Harry, poor girl, ruining their moment last night, and I was left alone with Max. This is my time! To take the next step. Come on Ethan. Don't be a puss.

"Max?"

"What's up?" Max answered, shoveling the greasy pizza in his mouth. There was only one good meal the cafeteria ever served us, and it was pizza. It was the holy grail.

"Wanna hangout after school?" I asked nervously, fearing rejection.

"Sure bro, just text me." Ouch. A shot in the heart. Bro, he considers me as his goddamn brother, and what I know, brothers don't date brothers. Internally groaning, my life is ruined, I dramatically sighed in my head.

"What about tonight? We could check out the new club opening up?" I asked, crossing my fingers under the cafeteria table.

"That's actually a great idea, surprisingly," he added at the end making me glare at his direction.

"Why is it such a surprise that I can come up with great ideas, you don't even know me that well," I replied sticking my tongue out at him.

"You just seem the type," was his lame response. I only chuckled at his lameness.

"Mhm, okay. See ya tonight," I said once the bell rang and I walked off to my next class. Not daring to look back if he was watching me leave.

Shut up already Ethan, he does not like you in that way! Get that into your thick gay head, scolding myself. I can't help myself, he's beautiful in every single way.

Shaking my head to get rid of the thoughts clouding my head, I focused on where I was even heading, only to run onto a tall brunette boy which I may add, whom who has the most gorgeous blue eyes.

"Whoops, sorry. Didn't see you there," I said sheepishly, running my hand briefly through my hair.

"S'alright, what's in your mind that got you so, well, uncoordinated?" He said smiling broadly, dimples forming on his cheek.

Swoon.

"Oh nothing, you wouldn't want to know," I replied looking at the clock behind him only to see I had less than a minute to get to the other side of the school.

"I got time," he said smiling.

"Unfortunately, I don't. I need to get to class ASAP," I said hurriedly, already making my way behind him.

"At least tell me your name?" He asked turning to me
