The glimmering sun started to shoot down as clouds over took it, and wet rain poured down from the dark sky.

"Bekki, dinner's ready!" Bekki's mum called from the kitchen, downstairs.

"I'm not hungry, I'll eat later!" Bekki shouted back.

She opened her laptop, threw it on the bed and plopped herself down. She had no idea what she was about to do, until she saw an advert on Facebook.

"Blind Dates for Teens" she read out aloud. She gulped, and an idea finally struck her. She could go on a date and show off to Sarah, that'll definitely make her jealous, then she'll dump the boy once Sarah realises what a big mistake she had made.

It's a little mean, but Bekki could do it. Hey, she was 18, she was old enough to do whatever.

She signed up to the website, only to receive a notification after a few minutes. A boy... called 'Joseph', she signed, knowing that she couldn't check what he looked like.

'Hey, u new? I could meet up with u and tell u everything about this web ;)'

She swallowed the lump in her throat. She didn't know. He could be anyone, anything. But she took the opportunity.

'sure, when?' she replied.

'tomorrow? u free? at the coffee shop round Nightingale Lane?

'oh sure, okay, see you then.

She could do this. She was ready, ready for anything to come her way. If Sarah could do it, she could do it. Bring it on, sucker. she thought.

The Next Day, 9 A.M

She sighed, waiting outside the coffee shop, for that boy. She saw someone coming, he looked REALLY fit. She looked at him dreamily, but shook herself out of it. She looked amazed when the boy walked up to her.

"Are you Bekki? From the blind date website?" the stunning boy asked her.

Her mouth struck open, THIS was him?!?! He was so dreamy. His hair was slick back, his eyes were sparkling in the light. He was muscular.

"Uh, yeah, it's me.." Bekki stuttered.

He chuckled, and he took her hand, smiling like an angel, they walked in the coffee shop, hand-in-hand. They took a seat at a four-seated table. Bekki watched Joseph as he went to order some hot chocolates, and she looked at the left over two seats at the table, memories over took her brain.

'Sarah and James should be here...' she gulped and shook the sad feeling off.

She smiled at him when he came back with the drinks, and their hands touched, again. She felt an electricity beam shoot up her spine, and she quickly drank a sip of her hot chocolate to avoid talking, she kept blushing. But, she had no idea that... it was really hot.

"HELP! HOT, HOT, HOOOOOOTTT!"

"I don't know if you're talking about me, or the drink. I'd prefer it if you're talking about me, but never mind," he winked, and then got me a bottle of water to drink, "There, better now?" he smiled.

"Yeah, thank you so much..." Bekki mumbled shyly, her voice crackling.

"That's okay.." his smile faded, and he grabbed Bekki's arm softly, making sure not to hurt her, and he brought her outside.

"Wha----?" she tried to speak, only to be interrupted.

Everything around them seemed like it all paused. Bekki and Joseph were lip locked into a kiss. Bekki hesitated at the start, but sinked into it, becoming comfy. They stood outside in the middle of the pavement, linked in a passionate kiss.

"I love you." they both said as they released the kiss.

It all ended happily.

With a kiss.
