(AN: I know that in previous chapters I have used italics for thoughts but now I find it confusing so I've decided to stop doing that. This is for any confusion you may have reading from here on. Loves Yous! 🤍)

Armin's POV
It's been a couple hours since the talk I had with Captain about the rules. During that time, I just ended up reading and lounging around on the bed seeing as we had early morning training instead of afternoon training. (AN: I'm not sure if this is how their training works so please don't take my word as their schedule.) At this time, I'm pretty sure the Captain is trying to finish up his huge stack of paperwork I saw earlier while walking in.

Maybe, I should check on him..
No, I can't, that'd be weird. He could be sleeping and looking handsome and all. Then, I'd probably end up staring in awe and then, he'll wake up, see me staring, and think I'm the weirdest human alive.

Hmm. Anyways, what should I do now? I mean all I have done all day is read two books, got surprised by a flooded room, and moved into my crushes room as a "roommate." Could you even call us that? I mean he's hardly in here as my superiors have said.

Also, I'm curious on where Eren and Mikasa are. I'm surprised they haven't burst into the room asking a million questions, well, just Eren would be doing that actually. Maybe, they're looking around for me and they just don't know. Well, even if they did, it's not like they're allowed in anyways so..

Well, I shouldn't dwell on something such as that, they're probably waiting until dinner to talk to me.

Ok, Armin, you can can do two things, either walk to dinner without checking on the Captain to see if he's awake. Or check on him hoping he's not awake so you won't be called a creep for the rest of your life and wake him up for dinner. Which will then title you the dinner time telling champion and he will fall in love with- ok, too much, calm down there.

I sigh. I can't just leave him, what if he is asleep and he misses all of dinner. He'd just be working all night on an empty stomach. Ok, here I go, checking on Captain Levi.

I walk up to the door connecting the bedroom and his office. I'll just make sure I'm not interrupting anything by knocking.

I knock once, nothing.
I wait a little to then knock once again, which is responded with silence once again.

Ok, Armin, just open the door slowly and quietly just to make sure he's even there without being noticed.

I inch my hand towards the door knob, twist it slowly, and open it just as slow. I take a look inside to find out that he's actually asleep. From where I'm standing I can only see the top of his head as it lays against his desk but, he still seems peaceful. Well, maybe I should stop staring now and wake him up for dinner.

I walk into the room quietly and maneuver my way towards his desk. Now that I'm closer, I can see his face clearly and he looks so cute. His usually stoic expression is replaced with nothing but calm and stress-free sleeping bliss. He looks so peaceful sleeping that I debate whether I should wake him up or not.

I mean if I don't, he won't have dinner and he'll have to finish his paperwork on an empty stomach. Or I could wake him up now, he has dinner, he finishes the rest of his paperwork, and he could possibly try getting more shut eye. I believe the latter would be the best option.

After I decide, I take hold of his shoulder and lightly shake him awake. To my surprise he wakes up just from that. Wow, what a light-sleeper.

"Hm? What do you want, Arlert?" He asks in his sleepy voice which, might I add, is the cutest yet dare I say sexist thing I could ever hear.

"I-I just wanted to wake you up for dinner, sir." I state quietly.

"Alright, then. And stop calling me Captain and sir while we're alone, it's weird since we're technically "roommates" now." He advises.

"Ok, I can do that." I agree.

Now, off to dinner we go.
