Part Ten

Armin's POV

We finished our food and after we went to training. We'll be doing this for pretty much the whole day until dinner so, yeah.

TIME SKIP

I am exhausted. Training was worse today since I've been running off of five hours of sleep the whole day. Five hours and exercise does not mix well.

Anyways, I may be tired but, I'm still hungry. Before going to the Mess Hall, we have a shower to get rid of the sweat.

We all make it to the Mess Hall in our sleep attire as we are going to bed after. We sit down at our respected seats.

"Hey, Armin, I'm sorry for annoying you with our fights. It just happens sometimes, y'know?" Jean says sheepishly. Wow, Jean apologizing first?

"Yeah, I'm sorry, too." Eren apologizes as well.

"It's alright, I'm sorry for scolding you guys so loudly. That was probably very embarrassing. I shouldn't have done that." I apologize.

"No, it's fine, we understand that our fights are annoying for everyone. There's no need to apologize for putting us in our place." Jean says quickly.

"Alright then."

"Anyways, I'm getting kind of curious. Since your room is flooded where are you sleeping? I've been curious about it since Krista brought it up." Connie questions.

"Ok, if you guys really want to know." I say hesitantly. I'm kind of scared how Mikasa will react.

"I could care less, are you still eating your food? Because if not, I can take it." Sasha asks.

"Yes, I'm eating my food. Anyways, my roommate is Captain Levi." I try to say in a way that tells them that I don't care. Even though I have been freaking out because, you know what. I don't need them finding out I like him as well. That'd just start something I don't want to be in the middle of.

"What?" Mikasa says with a confused yet shocked face.

"I'm staying in Captain Levi's room." I repeat.

"Why? Why can't you stay in someone else's room?" She asks, he anger only showing a little.

"The Commander reasoned that he rarely sleeps in his room."

"Has he hurt you?"

"No, not even close to it."

"Does he make you uncomfortable."

"No."

She goes on and on with the questions. At this point, they're getting annoying. I mean, they're just questions about him possibly hurting me. Those types of questions hit a nerve sometimes when the main subject is your CRUSH.

"Ok, I think all of the questions have been answered. I just want to eat and sleep soon. If you want we can do this another time." I say in a tired but polite voice.

"Fine, I'm still not okay with you sharing a room with the Captain."

"Can't really do anything about it so you might as well save it for later." I say in a voice that shows how annoyed I am.

I slap my hand over my mouth. Did I really just say that? To Mikasa? In front of everyone? What is going on with me being snappy? I guess you could say it's because I'm tired.

Everyone looks at me in silence with wide eyes before Ymir says, "What's going on with you being so eager to put people in their place. There's nothing wrong with it so far but, damn, I wasn't expecting that."

"I'm sorry, I've just been tired lately, maybe that's why."

"Fine then, I'll save my concerns towards you for later. Didn't know it bothered you so much." Mikasa says with a bored look on her face. I can tell that she is annoyed by what I said.

"I said I was sorry." I say in a quiet and apologetic tone.

With that, we all eat in an awkward silence with little to no conversation.

We all finish and head our separate ways. I make it to the Captain's room, exhausted. I walk in just as he is heading to his office from the bedroom.

He sees me and says, "Goodnight, brat."

"Night Levi." I say before getting under the sheets and closing my eyes.

Wowow, this story keeps surprising me. Like over a hundred reads?! When I saw that earlier I literally had a small heart attack. My eyes literally opened so wide.
