Chapter 4

I couldn't sleep all night because he was on my mind, but not smiling or laughing like he usually is but looking at me with his cold dead eyes.

The next day I hurried to his house and knocked on the door, I had to apologize even if he doesn't forgive me. I couldn't just let him hurt when I could do something about it. The door swung open and there stood Lana with a toothbrush in her mouth, hair all over the place, and dark circles around under her eyes.

"Oh its you" was the only thing she said before opening the door wider and making her way upstairs. I quickly entered and closed the door behind me. I took off my shoes and jacket and made my way upstairs. He was most likely asleep but that's fine I could wait.

I knocked on the door and got no answer, I slowly opened the door and there he was looking at the ceiling deep in thought. I opened the door fully and cleared my thoat. He jumped a little and looked at him, his eyebrows furrowed a little as if he was shocked to see me. "What are you doing here?" He asked, not in a 'I don't wanna see you' but a genuinely curious tone. "Besides the fact it's Saturday, I came to apologize. I-I shouldn't of had taken my anger out on you..." I couldn't look at him so I kept my gaze on the ground.

He was silent for a second or two before letting out a little laugh causing my gaze to shoot up and look at him. He was out of the bed and standing and a big smile was on his face, "It's fine, everyone needs a little space here and there."

This time it had been my turn to smile. "Wait up here I'll go get the both of us some breakfast, okay?" I had nodded my head and sat down on his bed.

I was happy, happy that he was okay and that...that's all that matters to me. His happiness is like gold for me.

As long as he's happy I'm happy....
