She called Lexi and she picked up
Lexi: honey we're at the hospital
Shanise: I'm coming (she hung up and put kaden's black hoodie and sweatpants on)
At the hospital

They were finally allowed to see kaden
doctor: family would you like to go in
Lexi: you can go in if you want shanise
Shanise went in and saw kaden on the hospital bed
Shanise: (she cried) why (her voice cracked) why do this (she hit his chest) KADEN
Lexi: honey honey it's okay
Shanise: he doesn't care (her voice cut out after crying and she coughed from crying so hard) he gave no warning (she cried) he wanted to wow he without even saying goodbye
Kaden: I'm sorry (he cried)
Jake: i know but i guess we have to just pray he gets better
Shanise looked in his pockets and saw a box of cigarettes and a lighter
Lexi: honey those won't help, kaden has a terrible smoking problem
Shanise: it's the closest thing i have to feel like I'm reconnecting with him (she put one in her mouth and went outside of the hospital and smoked)
She came in 20 minutes later
Shanise: i can't believe he tried to kill himself (she held his hand) i love you more than i love myself
