Y/N POV

'Of course it's the middle of winter when he has to practice the most...' I mumbled to myself as I wrapped my scarf around my neck, bringing my hands to my mouth and heating them with my breath as I walked through the Karasuno school gates. I was here for a study session with two friends, Kiyoko and Haniko, but I was running a little late. I managed to get just past the gyms before someone grasped my elbow. I glanced and saw my raven haired friend with pink rimmed glasses. I smiled and turned to her. 

"Y/N, I know this is a lot to ask but please, please, please come and help me with the training, the boys team are working themselves over!" She said, lightly tugging on my arm and I smiled. I messaged Haniko that she didn't have to wait for us and Kiyoko and I walked towards the gym. She pushed my towards he changing rooms and then she walked into the gym getting everyone's attention. I walked up behind her and stood there awkwardly as she turned around and introduced me to them all, saying I was only here to help. I smiled as she stepped to the side, letting me introduce myself.

I glanced at them all and smiled, "My names Wakatoshi Y/N" I said and they all looked slightly confused until one short guy with Orange hair stepped forward and raised his hand, he started to speak and said rather confusedly, "So if you're Ushiwaka's sister then why are you here helping us?" I froze for a moment and then grabbed a volleyball by my feet and then smiled, "Ushijima isn't my brother, he is my step-brother. Plus he knows that he isn't the best at volleyball in our family so he doesn't really let me play with him because he thinks I'm going to show him up," I mumbled and then their teams coach walked though the door and stands next to Kiyoko. 

"Well that is expected coming from the highest ranked female ace in Japan." Their coach said as I turned to face him, I looked at the team and they all started going back to practice. The orange haired by, who was called Hinata, he was a first year, and A shorter black haired by with a blonde section were talking and they walked over to me. "We're doing a vertical jumping height competition after practice do you want to join us?" They asked and I smiled and agreed since I had never actually known my vertical jump height. They both ran back to practice for another half an hour before the vertical jump competition. We all stood in a line and went in the order of their jersey numbers with me placed at the end. Once we had all done our jumps we lined up and Kiyoko read out our scores.

"Daichi, 310 cm. Suga, 298 cm. Asahi, 330 cm. Nishinoya, 330 cm. Tanaka, 322 cm. Ennoshita, 305 cm. Kinoshita, 295 cm. Narita, 320 cm. Hinata, 327 cm. Kageyama, 335 cm, Tsukishima, 332 cm. Yamaguchi, 315 cm. Y/N, 336 cm." I smiled and then heard the school bell ring. Coach Ukai dismissed them all from practice and once Kiyoko and I got changed we both walked out and as she walked off she turned to me.

"Are you coming?" I shook my head and smiled, "I've left something in the gym, I'll be back in a moment." I said as I turned and walked back into the gym, however instead of hitting nothing, I hit into someone's chest. I looked up and saw my sweet, silver haired boyfriend and I smiled as he wrapped his arms around me and kissed my forehead. We thought we were alone so we both walked out of the gym holding hands and having a small little conversation about the jump competition until I glanced up, saw the whole team stood in front of us, Sugawara didn't notice until I pulled his hand and he glanced up too see them all. We both fell completely silent and the two second years came up and slapped Sugawara on the back before walking off to the nearby store. The first years were giggling as they followed after the second years. The rest of the third years were stood there and Daichi looked at Sugawara.

"So this is the girl you meant to introduce us to?" He said and I glanced at Sugawara and started laughing.  We all started walking out of the school gates, Sugawara and I started walking back to our apartment, having our normal conversations and once we arrived home, Sugawara flopped onto the sofa and eventually fell asleep as I was minding my own business until my phone buzzed on the kitchen counter. I glanced at it and it was from my brother.

'See you at the game tomorrow, expect to lose xox' He texted and I scowled at my phone and thought,

'Oh were not losing'
