Ship: Logan (little)x Virgil (Caregiver)

Can be read as romantic or platonic

Warnings: Cute fluff, sad logan hours

Logan knew that overworking himself never benefited Thomas. So a while ago he looked into ways to help with dealing with being overworked, he ended up finding that age regression helped. So he spent a while researching it and decided to try it out.

After a few months had passed Logan had been quite happy that he was dreading to do work less and that Thomas had been feeling much better. Usually, he kept the door to his room locked whenever he was little so when he had somehow forgotten this time and Virgil had come to ask him a question it surprised them both. Logan wasn't planning on having a pacifier, cuddling with his bear, and reading a children's book while Virgil was there, and neither was Virgil. They both froze up for a second to process what was happening until Virgil spoke up.

"I-is that a pacifier a-and a children's book?" He questioned, he wasn't surprised by the bear much since he knew Logan had been attached to the bear since childhood, but the rest definitely surprised him.

"I-i-i-" As Logan spoke his pacifier fell out and he stared at Virgil, he didn't quite know how to respond. And like any small child who felt scared and didn't know what to say, he started tearing up. "No n-no! It's ok!" Virgil said as he tried his best to be calm while approaching Logan slowly and closing the door. "Would you like a hug?" Virgil asked calmly, Logan gave a small nod and melted into Virgil's hug.

Logan Knew Virgil could keep a secret so he wasn't too scared about him telling anyone, and he trusted him quite a bit anyways. Even though he was almost certain Virgil wouldn't tell anyone he still wanted to ask, "You won' tell anyone righ'?" he asked cautiously. "No, of course not, at least not without your permission." Logan held the bear of his and cuddled up with Virgil some more. "Would you like me to read you the rest of that book you were reading? Or would you like to show me how good you are at reading?" Virgil asked he didn't really mind either option. Logan shot up in Virgil's lap, "I wanna show you how good I am at readin'!"

"Ok then, but whenever you can, would we be able to talk about this?" Virgil stated. "Of course!" Logan said excitedly. Logan grabbed his book and read it out loud to Virgil. When Logan was out of his headspace, he stored his pacifier and book in separate boxes and put them back under his bed. "So what was that Logan?" Virgil questioned, he wasn't really sure what it was but he knew whatever it was he would accept Logan for who he was. "You're not gonna laugh?" Logan said in a sarcastic question-like manner since he already knew Virgil likely wouldn't laugh. "Course not," Virgil said, Logan then went on to explain age regression in a way that he was almost sure Virgil wouldn't take in the wrong way.

"That makes a lot more sense now," Virgil said understandingly with a half-smile. Now whenever Logan regressed, he made sure to text Virgil about it so they could hang out and Virgil could help out Logan with anything he needed help with. Virgil tried not to help too much, and he encouraged Logan to do things on his own since he knew this would make Logan happy, he still occasionally helped when necessary.
