(Most/all of this story will be from Skeppy's perspective. I will specify at the beginning of a chapter if the POV's changed.)

Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep! Be- Zack slammed his hand onto the dismiss button on the alarm. He groaned. Looks like it was time for his first day again. Why couldn't they just stop school at middle school? He asked himself. Oh well, he might as well get dressed.

Zak put on his uniform from the previous year and headed to his kitchen, expecting his mom to be down there with cereal ready. But instead there was just a banana with a note next to it. Zak walked over to it and read it. "Sorry! I forgot to buy cereal. Here's a banana instead." Zak sighed. Better than nothing. He thought as he got the banana and ran out. Zak then hopped on his bike and rode it to the campus.

When he got inside he noticed a lot of people were whispering. Which usually meant there was a rumour. Zak rolled his eyes and tapped his friend Clay's shoulder.  They weren't the closest as Clay already had his own friend group, but Zak considered them at least acquaintances.

"Hm? Oh hey, Zak. What's up?" Clay turned. "Nothing much but I hear a bunch of whispering. What's the rumour this time?" Zak asked. Clay laughed. "Oh it's nothing, really. Just some rumours of transfer kids coming." Zak nodded then he suddenly heard some chatter behind him. He turned and saw someone he hadn't seen before.

It was a boy who was kind of tall. Green eyes, brown curly hair, glasses, and to top it all off a big smile on his face. There were several students surrounding him trying to talk to him. Somehow, he talked to all of them simultaneously. After the boy finished talking, Zak walked up to him.

"Uh, hey." Zak greeted. "Oh, hi!" The other one waved even though Zak was right in front of him. "What's your name?" Zak asked. "My name's Darryl!" The one apparently named Darryl responded. "Darryl, huh? You don't really look like one." Zak chuckled. Darryl rolls his eyes, still smiling.

Diiiiiing! "Oh! Looks like it's time for class! See you later.." Darryl said, waiting for Zak to say something. "Oh right! My name's Zak." Darryl then finished his sentence. "See you later, Zak!" Darryl walked off.
