Funny thing about hair, it's the second fastest growing tissue in the body after bone marrow. And yes, I just googled that. I'm not your smart or average sophomore. In fact, I should have been a senior by now. But how could I be when SCHOOL is LITERALLY the EPITOME OF POINTLESS? And somehow, my sister has proven me wrong with her perfect grades and perfect life with her perfect job, her perfect guy and her perfect body, which I still can't figure out how I didn't get any of that. But, she's the only one that really gets and loves me.

Anyway, about the hair...... I don't remember what I was going to say. So, about my life...... I don't have a life. I'm just a lonely, peice of crap seventeen year old, loathed by her family, who's gonna turn eighteen in a few months, and still doesn't know what the heck she's gonna do with her life. Yup, that's me. Such a charm.

I want a rich guy who I can be with and steal his money then go live my life in another part of the world. Like Asia, or Korea. Heck, even Antarctica.

But today, I focus on my mission, and that mission is trying to get my bestfriend to stop asking to go this party. Claire, my one and only friend, if you don't count my sister, is a party animal whereas I'm more calm. But I can be fun too.*wink*

Rolling onto my stomach, I looked Claire in the eyes firmly sticking to my answer.

"No." Instead of giving up, she got on her knees entwining her fingers together. She batted her thick lashes at me pouting. I don't know why she thought it was going to- no, no. Dangit! She looks so adorable. I sighed slouching further into the mattress in defeat. "Fine." Rolling my eyes, I sat up on the bed while she squealed in excitement. Clapping her hands together, she grabbed my forearms and pulled me toward my closet. Partys weren't really my scene, but hey, a little fun can't hurt. Though Claire's probably gonna ditch me for the first guy to approach her. Sliding half the clothes in my closet in disapproval, she finally picked out a red tank top making my eyes grow wide. "Are you crazy?! It's like negative fifty degrees outside." It was almost fall and I didn't intend on getting frostbite.  She shrugged before taking out her phone.

"Chill," she looked at the screen before looking at me,"it's only twenty degrees Farenheit...." she furrowed her brows looking at her phone again, "or Celcius. Same difference."

"I'm not wearing it." I crossed my arms in a challenging way. Her eyes couldn't work on me this time, I was prepared. I'm just not gonna look.

"Okay." She looked around my room before walking toward my desk chair. It was a comfy spin around type chair that sat in front of a light coloured wooden desk which held my laptop and some books. Books which I don't have interest in. "How about you wear this over it?" She held up my black hooded jacket which I had "borrowed" from Allison, my perfected big sister. I looked off to the side contemplating on whether I should wear it. But why the heck not?!

"Deal." She bounced on her heels before handing me the jacket. Taking the plane black tee I had on before, I put on the tank top turning toward her. She nodded in approval putting a finger on her cheek.

"I still think you should go without the jacket." I narrowed my eyes at her before throwing on the jacket. She had on a jacket, why couldn't I wear one? Her beanie rested on her head along with her 'North Face' cap. She wore a short, black skirt revealing her mid thighs while I wore high wasted jeans. "Ready?"

"Lez go." I opened my window putting one foot out before looking back at Claire who patiently stood behind me. "You should probably take the stairs."

"Right." She nodded but then stopped in her tracks looking at my bed then at me, then at the door. "What if they check in your room and find out you're not here."

"Well, Allison's not here anymore and no one else cares so..." I shrugged as my voice trailed off. I put my body through the window fully to see she still hadn't moved. She looked a little nervous which was very unusual for her. She was usually carefree and loose. I watched as she put both my pillows under my blanket making it look like someone was under there.
