Bakugou Katsuki Has Feelings?

Their trek to the lodge wasn't as long and arduous as expected. They had time still for Deku's team to rescue Uraraka.

Bakugou kept having a sinking feeling. Worried that there could be something or someone at the camp who would indeed ruin everything. Unfortunately, she couldn't tell if this was due to her anxiety being back at a hero camp or if it was her intuition.

As the time continued to crawl by, at the most painstakingly slow pace, Bakugou grew impatient. Todoroki had noticed her unease and walked over to her. Squeezing her hand in confirmation that things were fine.

Bakugou cursed her anxiety for all of the bullshit she was thinking and feeling, when this should be fun. They were going to beat Deku and Bakugou loved beating Deku!

Finally the time had passed and there was a huge announcement from Present Mic that Bakugou's team had won. They were informed that they needed to head back to camp.

"Well that was fucking uneventful." Bakugou growled.

"Yo Bakubro it's fine we won!" Kirishima said trying to cheer her up.

"Tch. Whatever. Let's just go back. I want the time to enjoy the rest of this shitty camping trip."

Mina and Kirishima looked at each other and shrugged. They brought Uraraka out of her hiding spot and started to walk back. Todoroki and Bakugou were following slightly behind.

They didn't think they were that far away from their friends until they heard a scream in the distance.

"That sounded exactly like.." Todoroki started, and Bakugou chimed in speaking the name together, "Mina!"

They dashed ahead looking for Mina or any sign of the rest of their group. No one was around. How was this even possible? They were just there a minute ago.

Bakugou started to breathe erratically, her palms sweating more, her heart beating faster, her mind was going a mile a minute. She dropped to her knees as tears spilled out from her eyes. She fumbled in her pockets for her antianxiety medication, it wasn't there. She cursed herself for being so stupid, how could she have forgotten?

"This can't be happening again! How is this possible?" Bakugou started as a string of other words flew out of her mouth incoherently.

Suddenly, she felt arms wrap around her. She went to push them away, struggling to get free of whoever it was. She couldn't let this happen to her again. She sure as hell was on the kill list this time or maybe the kidnap one to be killed at a later date, of Dabi's choosing.

How could I even succeed as a hero if I let something like this happens again, let myself be taken. No one would ever take me seriously again.

Tears continued to stream down her face and the arms around her started to feel familiar. Her breathing slowed and she recognized the smell of Todoroki's cologne.

As she started to calm down, she heard he'd been speaking to her. "Kat are you okay now?"

"Fuck no! We have to go find them!"

"I know that, but you have to calm down first. You're in no condition to fight like this!"

"I'm sorry." She choked out. "I'm so useless."

Todoroki had had enough as he stood her up and moved her face to look him in the eyes. "Bakugou Katsuki, you have never and will never be useless. You're so strong. Don't doubt yourself now."

Bakugou nodded her head. Todoroki somehow managed to calm her.

"Where are we headed? We're going to destroy those fucking losers for trying this shit again!"

"There's the Kat I know and love." Todoroki said smiling. He grabbed her hand and they ran together towards the sounds of fighting.

Bakugou was surprised. Did Todoroki just say he loves me? Or was it just a spur of the moment statement?

She shook her head growling. "Now's not the time for this!" She said to herself.

They kept running for what seemed like forever. When in reality, it was probably only about a minute or so. They made their way to a clearing where Mina, Kirishima, and Uraraka were fighting off Toga.

"Ooh it looks like little brother has finally joined the party!" Toga cheered. "I can't wait to deliver you to your brother."

"Shut the fuck up you bitch!" Bakugou yelled. "And don't you dare touch Shoto!"

Toga laughed. "Aww defending your boyfriend? It's so cute! Maybe I'll just play with you first?"

"I'd like to see you try bitch! Did you really think you could start a fight here by yourself without teachers coming to look for us? You're dumber than I thought!"

"Aww that hurt my feelings Bakugou... I thought we could be friends! After all, you're going to be so pretty covered in blood!" She screamed lunging at Bakugou full force.

She tried to dodge, but it was too late. Toga had tackled her to the ground. She places a knife at Bakugou's throat, a silent threat if the others decided to engage.

"Oh, but my beautiful girl, they won't be looking for you." Toga sneered. "I was a very convincing Uraraka and told Aizawa that you were all too tired and wanted to sleep. So you see, no one's coming to help you."

Bakugou's eyes grew wide as the rest of her team and Uraraka stood there analyzing the situation. What could the do? Could they get to Bakugou before Toga slit her throat?

They all seemed to come to the same conclusion, they wouldn't be able to do that.

"Now that you see the extent of the trouble you're all in, let me let you in on something else. I'm not alone." She smiled insanely and as they turned around a purple smoke flooded the area.

They didn't have time to think or react. Before they could even try, they had all passed out.
