Bakugou Katsuki Has Feelings?

When Bakugou awoke, she was in the clearing... The fuck?! She thinks to herself. Weren't we just here? And wasn't Toga... Shit?!

As Bakugou frantically looks around the rest of her team and Uraraka were there.

"Oi! What the fuck just happened?!" Bakugou yells to everyone else as they start to wake up.

"Oh my gosh! How are we all here and safe?" Uraraka asked.

"I'd like to know the same thing." Todoroki states.

"I thought we were done for!" Kirishima starts, "But it looks like we're okay..."

"Could it have been a trick?" Mina asks.

"Hell if I know!" Bakugou yells. "Let's just get the fuck up and go back to camp. Maybe Recovery Girl can check us."

They all look at each other and nod. Getting up, Bakugou hangs back waiting for Todoroki.

Todoroki walks to her side and they head back to camp. "Are you hurt Kat?" He asks her concerned.

"Honestly, Sho I have no fucking clue... Is there a knife wound by my throat or anything?"

Todoroki stops and turns to look at her. "Yes there is... But what actually happened? That's proof that we were attacked."

"I don't know... What if someone was swapped out?" Bakugou asks nervously.

"We wouldn't know right away, but hopefully that's not the case. Let's get checked up."

As they continue their walk everyone seems on edge. Finally entering the camp they go straight to Aizawa.

They explain what happened, and he looks at them all suspiciously. Realizing he'd activated his quirk on everyone relief washed over the group.

"Well that rules out one theory. Go to Recovery Girl, maybe she'll discover something." Aizawa tells them.

Hanging back Bakugou asks one more question. "How long were we gone?"

"Maybe an hour. But we thought you were asleep. Bakugou, please understand we've been doing everything we can to prevent this from happening again."

"Shut it Aizawa! I fucking know that, but it still happened didn't it?!" She was livid. She felt a hand on her shoulder as Todoroki tried to calm her down. "I just want to know what exactly will happen when you find out what that bitch did to us?"

"Bakugou I don't know. After you head to Recovery Girl, I will call Principal Nezu and make a plan. I know that isn't what you want to hear... I believe we will make security tighter, but what other things we do will depend on what happened to the five of you, understand?"

Bakugou nods her head pissed off still, but understanding. Todoroki grabs her hand and squeezes it in reassurance.

When they make it to Recovery Girl's office the rest of the group was there. Minor scrapes mended after a full examination. One thing was clear before Bakugou and Todoroki were even examined, their blood had been taken.

Toga must have been under direct orders to not actually harm anyone. But their blood being taken, meant they could be impersonated by Toga at any point.

After an exam, they saw that Bakugou's blood was also taken and she had more bruising than the others. More of her blood was taken and that showed the lengths they were going to, to hurt Todoroki and his family.

When Todoroki was examined, he was fine. No blood was taken. The goal of Toga and whomever she'd been working with, became clearer, the target would be Todoroki directly. But why?

That question lingered in the minds of those in the group, who hadn't been clued into the current situation. They sat solemnly in Recover Girl's office, waiting for directions.

After so much silence Bakugou couldn't take it anymore. "Fuck this shit! I'm done with these stupid fucking mind games Dabi's playing!" She yells.

"What are you talking about?" Mina asks.

"Yeah bro, care to clue us in?" Kirishima adds.

Bakugou realizing she has said too much whispers, "Shit!" Under her breath and looks to Todoroki for assurance that she can clue them in...

Todoroki nods, his limit already reached at this point. He wasn't hurt, but Bakugou had been and worse than the others. She was their target so they could get to him. One of his worst fears was coming to light and he knew this would continue.

They'd even played on Bakugou's fear of camping trips with UA.

Bakugou takes a deep breath and looks over at the rest of the group. "I'll tell you idiots this once, and only once. Don't go spreading this shit around either okay?" She looks directly at the loud mouthed people in their group and they nod.

"About 6 months or so ago, Dabi attacked us when we were with Endeavor on our stupid hero outing... The shithead revealed that he was Touya Todoroki, the brother they'd thought died or some shit a long time ago. He vowed to take vengeance on the whole family for forgiving Endeavor for being the biggest asshole on the planet to his family. After that, they've been checking in with each other daily. Hoping that no one had been taken."

She looks at Todoroki once more, uncharacteristically grabbing his hand. She knew he needed it and on some level so did she.

"This was the first fucking attack. Clearly showing who he'd target first and how. Todoroki, with us, probably me mainly..."

She looked at Todoroki again. Sadness clouding her eyes and his. She was scared to lose him and his nightmares had slowly been subsiding. That wouldn't be the case anymore. They were each other's weakness and strength. She wished they'd get through this shit show together.

The group looked at the couple sadly seeing the weight that this had put on their lives.

"We've got this bro! We'll keep your secret and help in any way we can!" Kirishima was the first to speak up. Smiling, widely at his friends.

"Yeah!" Mina and Uraraka yell together in agreement.

Their conversation was ended quickly when Aizawa enters the room.

"Sorry to say this, but this trip is being cut short. We have to go back to UA and work with the new security protocols. Go back to your cabins and pack up your things. We leave in 20 minutes."
