Just so you know, by the media, that is Jennel crying.

The next day James and Gabe went out to find some girls. Carly and I were sitting on the floor, tied. Thursday wasn't really busy around the factories, so we weren't tied up around the mouth. Carly didn't talk at all, and I couldn't stop feeling like it was my fault. I felt like, she didn't want anything from me. Then we heard a car pull up, and then the door opened. James was laughing, and soon Carly and I had heard  some one frustrating. The new one.

This time the girl had a bag over her head. I recognized that the girl had black hair. She was wearing a purple shirt, a sweater with hearts all over, and pink jeans. I could tell she was crying the whole way by sobbing. I felt even more bad, now. There you go, you're friend. James said.

Just that I didn't know by friend, he meant friend. When Gabe pulled the bag, I saw that it was Jennel. My friend, Jennel. The one that told me about the shortcut? Yeah, her. When we caught eyes she started to cry. I got tears, too. Jennel tried to say something, but nothing would come out. When they put her on the floor, she started to hug me and cry harder, and I did too. Yeah, you should stay on the safe side, Jennel said, and I managed to get a little giggle out. You're here? Jennel asked me, and I nodded. You're safe, that's great! Everyone thinks you ran away, or something. And your parents, they're blaming themselves. And guess what? The police are looking all over for you. They have posters, and your on the news. At school they even made the Katie Searching Team, where people volunteer to look for you around town. But there's been no sign. Ugh! Jennel hugged me tight. I hugged her back. And they've been looking in the wrong places. But we need to get out.

Don't you think I tried? They' aren't budging. I managed to say, even though I knew my voice was shaky. Jennel turned to Carly. She didn't recognize Carly. Carly just waved. Jennel smiled. Jennel's dimples started to show. Her dimples are like, in the cheeks. And they're really deep. I had always been jealous of her because of that.

Only one thing came good out of Jennel coming. I had her with me.
